This track has come out of nowhere for me and oh my days is it good. Nice combination and clear inspiration from a whole mix of genres, it really is a cherry
  2. It would!! It's the only travelling cred I care for since the execution of eurostar.

  6. I really enjoy the omnimover, I just find it really charming, however with the back area of the park and the mad house I completely get your point. I must admit whilst writing this I completely forgot about those areas, however I will say that the areas that I have taken pictures of, and generally spent more time on are some of the most intricate and immersive things I've ever heard of/seen.
  7. When you have a good camera, and a pretty thing to take a picture of, it's hard NOT to. http://imgur.com/a/iUE4W
  8. Hi one and all, I am just a lurker here really so you probably haven't seen me around before. I've recently returned from a trip I took to Phantasialand and have alot to share. It doesn't take much to make an impression to me, and I feel like the impression Phantasialand makes is incomparable. I hope, that it pretty quickly displays why it's my favourite park in the world. I'm not one for just concrete and thrills. The immersion this place delivers is un matched by anything I've experienced or seen. Everything feels so genuine and real. I'm gonna stop blabbing on and let the pictures do the talking for a bit. The park is breath taking. Unlike my home nations parks which seem to be descending steeply into decline, phantasia is maintained and propelled fantastically, with the recent addition of taron. The ride itself is very mediocre. The ride has some insane ejector, but that's it. It is one of the most unique steel's I've ridden, only comparable to woodies for me. I love Phantasialand because they openly admit they embody their rides into areas. They design the ride with the area in mind, not the other way round. There's no way the park would work if they worked the same way everyone else does. Their back to front attitude leads to some seriously immersive and breath taking theming. The reason why I love this park so much is because each area takes you 1000's of miles across the planet within the space of metres, and it does it convincingly too. This is my favourite theme park in the world, simply because it removes you from just that. It makes you a time & space traveller, like no where else can. ] thanks for reading (PS, my photo's don't do it justice. YOU HAVE TO VISIT!)
  9. Mate I literally cried at this guest: This is ridiculous, why cant you tell when the rides are going to go down and give us some warning? host: would you also like the bbc to warn you when the next isis attack is?
  10. I was discussing this the other day, and in theory it shouldn't take much to require the ride and install a whew gondola. The main problem with the ride comes from the unforgiving restraint system and it's unreliability so it would make sense to replace the gondola. Looking at the likes of Talocan the seating arrangements seem to be the only significant change to the new top spin design.
  11. After a weekend at phantasia I realise just how ugly, terribly operates and bad this place is.
  12. Nothings more patronising then your sarcastic comments on everything though
  13. platform 15, solid train scene, the rest was dull, CJ, take it away!
  14. Platform 15's train scene is really good, it's such a shame that literally everything else from the night wasn't up to par. Apart from saw, surprisingly, which was really intense!

    Video Games.

Just finished editing the last of my year 2 footage from destiny, went mad with the editing even if the footage wasn't all that good. Please enjoy, and it's only a minute long so make sure you watch!!
  16. That has very little to do with the roughness of the rides, per example. The roughness for saw & Colossus in particular comes from the fact that they both sit on reclaimed, and sinking, land. Gerst, intamin, and mack all have the capability of producing silky smooth rides, even more so then some B&Ms, however there are countless factors that play a part in how smooth a ride is, which may effect specific track designs more then others.
