I myself am not educated on older players but I know a fair bit on the newer ones so if you're looking for a colourful thing with mediocre sound that has a few more gadgets you know whom to ask, I have only heard good rumours from the depths about older players... Anywho, Christine and The Queens. I am in love. Played on the Graham Norton show the other week and people came in HOARDES to buy her album and I wasn't too fussed, then I saw her Glastonbury set and now I can't get enough! She released her album originally in French a couple of years back then rereleased it for the English market in Feb/March time. I'd say she was reminiscent of HAIM and Grimes and the French rapping is awesome! here's my 2 favourites of hers

If you go into HMV at the moment crosley's are around £79.99 to £99.99 and inside the box there's a 15% off voucher! They're good for being portable and their colour range is nice but if you want to one up on that there's the Pro-ject elemental which is around £160+ and was voted best turntable for sound quality in previous years.

Went and made a little artsy video of this wonderful park! Not much to see aside from some POV's that go in time with the funky song and a few wide shots of the park but enjoy.

Really thought we had it for a monent. This reminds me of the time labour had an incredible amount of support on the internet which seemed overwhelming and we know what happened there... Right now I'm just bitter and disappointed. Chatting to my colleagues at work today and we were all shocked by it and upset, but what is done is done. Not sure I'm keen on people trying to get a second referendum, if the roles were reversed we wouldn't be saying anything I only hope I can be proved wrong that the EU was best for us. I also have a 0.5mm of sympathy for David Cameron for once in my short life...

Not surprised to see MBV not returning as staff said how damaged the sets were from the past 2 years, but after them hinting highly that they weren't going to have the Lionsgate mazes anymore I am surprised to see BWP and Cabin back. Hopefully this year they can amp it up and Big top has hopefully had enough constructive criticism for it to really show what it's capable of! New maze sounds... Interesting...

At universal we watched countless Team Members etc go on Kong and no one complained? In fact it was the complete opposite, everyone was excited and all the geeks crowded around there were talking together and saying about how they're anticipating opening! It's great to hear they're letting small groups on to test aside from the staff!

Never seen so many people moaning that they're getting prepared to open this ride... The ride that you all want open...

Had the pleasure of riding Kong again twice and every time it just gets better and better! Only criticism I have is that the ride really doesn't few that long and I wish they did a bit more with the outside portion, but aside from that it's great! Kong animatronic has so much detail closer up

Kong animatronic... Bad??? It is incredible up close and in person. The expressions it creates are amazing, no POV will do that justice. It doesn't move much due to the storyline, it's noises (and the smells it gives off) are a nice too.

Very fun ride, worth waiting in the sun for it. Rates better than Silver Star imo!

Reign of Kong just soft opened at 6pm here and we were one of the first public batches on! We rode twice and it was incredible. Everything was so realistic and the queue line is terrifying. Everyone needs to ride this!!

The best bit about this picture is the genuine fear in the eyes of the people behind us. (They didn't even know how to pull down a lap bar, even with an attendant showing them)

Here's a few pictures I took today, stayed for a while in the evening to see if they'd soft open but they extended team member previews until 8pm. Blaring music and a bunch of nerds really helped create an atmosphere!

According to numerous sources on Twitter, Kong's walls are down. (!!!!!!) could be chance of reign or literal chance of rain to stop it being taken down by the storm. Team members said the ride broke down a few times tonight but overall it was great, they're expecting some scare actors to be removed from queue line though. Will be popping over either today or Tuesday to see if anything has happened!

Literally just soft opened and we're in Aquatica today. Will be ready and waiting tomorrow...

I got a Christmas temp job at HMV over November-January which I left my old (and full time job for). I knew the position wouldn't lead to anything serious, but yesterday I got a phonecall offering me a full time job there! It's one of the loveliest places to work, so it's a start in my career! Very happy
