Well deserved IMO, it's a fantastic ride.

Just noticed that the £1 charge is not a booking fee, as I tried to order for two passes and it charges per pass.  So this is essentially an event fee despite the fact that it was advertised as FREE.
I'm sorry, but if they were doing this to limit numbers then it would be a £1 booking fee per order, this is clearly just a way to squeeze just that little bit more money out of loyal customers.

There's a little trick when it comes to scanning the papers! If it says 'Daily Mail' on it, hand it to the cashier as it's not fit to be sold.

Same layout, but was rougher with more underwater agitators and a big rock before the tunnel the boats would bounce off quite harshly. It was all toned down when a led fell out of the boat and had his ear cut off by said rock.
Was also a lot more open and sparse with the vegetation having not developed. It's easy to forget this really was barren pit land to start with, with no vegetation or natural landscape at all.

I do hope they didn't base the decision to charge a booking fee off Summer Nights stats, since of the nine times I attended, my pass/ticket was only ever scanned the once.

To be honest I doubt Thorpe theming NI's tunnel anytime soon. Thorpe will probably spend there budget on what there used to,
