  1. I still think that people hear from social media about these closed rides and that does dissuade some people from going. I know myself that I enjoyed Alton far less this year with all the closed rides then last year when they were opened. I personally found I could walk around all day and not run out of stuff to do, whereas this year I felt as if there wasn't enough to do.
  2. Zodiac is by far the worst and can do your head or stomach in, samurai does not have much force anymore and is pretty easy, slammer can give you a headache, but more importantly, make sure your shoulder restraint is loose otherwise you will come off and your shoulders will be knackered.

Yes, last year there were auxiliary water pumps brought in which were placed next to the first lift under saw.

    2017

Without being redeveloped straight away as well, it would leave a massive empty space in the park, so I don't see it replaced unless there is something lined up to fit in its place.

    Scarefest

Again, I was present yesterday but only managed to do sub species as no one in my group would do mazes. For me I think the main aspect of the maze is the idea and fear factor is isolating you and splitting you from groups. When you go in with no one else you know, I feel it loses quite a lot of the fear factor as you don't really care about anyone else.
  6. I've visited 17 times though and its been open on all of my visits....
  7. You have six months I believe to collect it from when you purchase it.
  8. I've done fright nights twice as of now this year, and thought I would leave my reviews. 5 worst, 1beat. 5: Platform 15 The scares for me are fairly obvious, have been evacced from it, lack of actors and the trek through the tunnel and finale do nothing for me. 4: Blair Witch Same as platform for me, better then last year with the grown up trees, and thought actors were well positioned. 3: Saw Saw, great theming for me, first time I've done it m, but I thought there were a lack of actors and purpose in some points. 2: Cabin Always have enjoyed cabin, much the same as always for me, not really any changes but really depends on the actors performances. 1: Big top I've done this twice, the first time there were a lack of actors but I thought it was very well done, especially like the prop room. However, when I went in there again, last Friday, the actors were better distributed, but lacking in the first section, but I didn't have a chainsaw finale. Is this just a mistime, or is it not there anymore, as I had it the week before?
  9. I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but from watching this in the dome yesterday, at the end 2 of the five figures light up red, could this be a sign suggesting more endings in the future ir other improvements?
  10. My top 5 may seem a bit odd to many, but is as follows: 1: Colossus 2: Stealth 3: Nemesis Inferno 4: The Swarm 5: Saw I personally am just a fan of Colossus, just get more of a rush from in then anything else, same with stealth. Enjoy Inferno, especially back row. I find swarm just a bit naff, don't know why, I just don't like it. Saw, just don't enjoy it and causes me pain with every ride.

    Logger's Leap

I agree about loggers being completely gone. There were tree branches in the trench at many points, a few pieces were actually broken and for platform 1&, they were running it off the power supply and server room of loggers. The thing is as well, all the conveyors look to still be in place, and wouldn't those be removed for winter maintainence? So suggests that they just moved some boats and left it in the state it ended last year.
  12. That was a refounded arrow though, not technically the same original company which done vampire.
  13. Vampire had new trains as since arrow were defunct, new parts weren't being manufactured and the trains could not be easily maintained.
  14. The land for Colossus was reclaimed after the rest of the park, and has had issues with sinking and becoming waterlogged ever since it was reclaimed.
  15. I still keep my belief. The trains whilst they are poor, a large amount of the roughness issues concern the track. Anyone who has tried the old intamin track style of Colossus, compared to the new style they use will notice the difference, even with new trains.

Not in terms of throughout though!
  17. In all fairness though, samurai has lasted a lot longer then last year and has had fairly good reliability.
  18. Is it known what the station layout is like as I haven't really kept up to date on this ride?
  19. Does anyone know how many trains there are?
  20. Car 5 train 2, car 7 train 2 and car 3&4 train 1 are the roughest rows.
  21. Do you know which train you were on, and what row?
  22. An hours short, even on good op expect 90mins. And expect at least one to break down.

    Logger's Leap

The main thing is, can they be bothered to create a closed water system and not use lake water, as that was one of the main issues with it.
