Fright Nights 2017
I think something fresh is due.. Yes there are brilliant mazes from the past, but all mazes have a sell-by date! Even the most brilliant attractions need to change, or it gets boring! Yes Thorpe have been a tad hit/miss on there maze concepts recently, but when they hit, they hit. I think the events main issues lie in not enough actors, queue management, and more things on those lines..

TPM Awards 2016
There would be no point in that award, I'd win that by a landslide

What Was The First Big Coaster You Went On In The UK
From what I remember: 1: Vampire (My first ever roller coaster) 2. Furius Baco (My first coaster with a inversion) 3. Stealth (First major coaster in the UK)

Fright Nights 2017
P15 is a interesting one.. IMO Thorpe should try to relocate it or remove it completely. Its location is far too big and wide for scares to properly work, and the route is rather long too.. I hope to see Cabin/Blair bite the dust. Especially Cabin, as the maze has seemed to deteriorate recently.. Big Top can stay as it is, and I don't see Saw changing anytime soon.

Favourite Merlin Dungeon
OF COURSE... Went into the Berlin dungeon the other day and found a Sweeney Tod and Jack The Ripper scene! The kind manner you made your point was mesmerizing!

Galactica
Thats not the main problem with Galactica's VR TBH. The main problem is the quality of the VR.. The VR looks very cheap, and is blurry for a lot of the ride. The throughput is another huge problem in itself..

Mack Rides
Looks like a nice twist on the Premier Sky Rocket model.. I think the transfer track won't be issue, especially now Mack have made Pulsar which from my knowledge doesn't have those types of problems at all. The spinning will be very interesting, especially with 3 launches and on inversions! Mack..

Logger's Leap
VR and a inversion plz. Something worthy of a good 4.5/10..

- Your favourite Thorpe Park coaster?
But space? Would a Maurer Spinner on a similar scale to Laff Trakk be Viable in the pyramid? I would love a Maurer Spinner to replace X, who wouldn't? But its highly unlikely IMO, and X is fine as it is.- Your favourite Thorpe Park coaster?
I think X won't be going anywhere anytime soon. It seems popular among the GP, and its still a fun family coaster. I'm not sure a decent sized Maurer Spinner could fit in the X pyramid? X is by no means amazing, but it does a job, and it does it well IMO.- Alton Towers News
I think Jamie has a point though.. There has been some backlash on closures, which might of caused people to feel discouraged from going.. I can why they're cutting Hotel Staff, there is barely enough to do at the resort to warrant more than a day.. Yes the incident was the main reason, but it still doesn't mean the closures don't affect the parks reputation and attendance..- The Banning Game
Banned for having the same name as me- When do you think rides will go?
Especially as S&S has discontinued the ride type.. Its a great flat don't get me wrong, but I think its on its last legs.. Plus they could fit a decent flat in its space, as Slammer seems to be sit on large plot of land.- Park Count - 2016 Season
I had a alright year, sadly didn't get time for Europa Thorpe: Around 15-20 times PA: 3 Legoland: 1 Alton: 4 Dreamland Margate: 1 BPB: 2 Tulleys Farm: 2 Chessington: 5 The only new park for me was Dreamland, but Shambhala was worth it- TPM Presidential Election
I'm a Bernie supporter, but I think Hillary is better than Trump overall. Trump practically wants to take America back in time, and erase all the progress the country made. Including defunding Planned Parenthood, making abortions illegal, ect. Hillary may not be ideal, but she won't be nowhere as near as detrimental as Trump IMO..- Your Sexuality
I really hope one day 'coming out' doesn't have to be a thing.. And even to this day, some of the reactions are shocking, especially after binge watching a bunch of coming out videos.. (pfft I was bored!) I think schools should do more on the subject, from my experience nothing about LGBT has really been said/taught. Meaning a lot of people to this day are still ignorant on the matter..- Fear on a Ride
Inversions for the most part aren't the scariest parts of a ride IMO. Except Blue Fire's Heartline, and Dragons Khan's inversions are quite intense. Nemesis Inferno is a good start, its not too intense, and is butter smooth. Though Swarm for me is the least intense of the big rides of Thorpe. Its pretty force-less and not as intense as Inferno.- Favourite Scare Attraction
I deffo need to get over to PDT. I go to Blackpool yearly, and its just never been something I've had time to do. Though the tackiness of the seafront is scary enough for me!- Logger's Leap
I'm pretty sure the ride is gonna close as a bunch of Lumberjacks protested on the entrance saying how the ride stigmatized them.. Seriously though, if the ride does close I hope Merlin next year actually invest in the area. Rocky Express is the only thing left, and the area feels abandoned. Even some of the food outlets in the area are starting to close..- The Big Bad Movie Topic
Just watched The first Purge Film, and it was meh.. Its a great concept and idea, but the great idea is reduced to a home invasion thriller.. Plus its riddled with horror cliches, which aren't even played for laughs like The Cabin In The Woods. Its not the worst Horror Movie I've seen, that'd be SAW 3D.. But its no Babadook, or The Conjuring either.. Meh-5/10- Logger's Leap
I'm still skeptical to say the least.. Wasn't there a massive issue with the water system on Loggers? If so, I don't think the ride will reopen at all TBH. But looking at past rethemes by Merlin, if it does return with a new sponsor and theme..- Dank Memes
- When do you think rides will go?
I think Slammer and Loggers are next on the chopping block considering the amount of space it would open up on both sites. If I was running the park Storm Surge would be blown to smithereens on live TV.. But sadly I see Storm Surge staying the ugly eye sore it is in the park for another decade or two.- Your Sexuality
I haven't really posted anything serious in this thread yet, or been personal on this forum or been open on the subject. I'm pretty sure I'm gay, and sort of happy about it I guess. All my friends know, but luckily most of them have been quite supportive. Though they are the homophobic people out there, people who think its a 'choice', and all that nonsense. But as Miles kinda said, why should sexuality define a person? Ever since I've been out of the closet, its wedged holes in relationships, mainly as people are avoiding me because of it. Some people have also completely blanked me because I'm gay. My sexual preference is just a part of me, like how I have brown eyes, its ridiculous how narrow minded people can be in this day and age. - Your favourite Thorpe Park coaster?
