I would say I would like Saw and MBV to get scrapped. And BWP and Cabin staying for one year or two more with TBT. But I think Thorpe will keep Saw,TBT and scrap the rest. If the Lionsgate contract does not get renewed I see BWP,Cabin, and MBV all going 100%. I think Saw Alive is a seperate contract so I think Thorpe may keep it,even though it is dire now.

TBH I'm glad a big budget is being spent on a Dark Ride. Thorpe has a lack of them compared to other Merlin Parks. Its very intresting, Merlin have never done a psychological theme before.. Cough* The Smiler *Cough.

Ok Scarefest hasn't just been touching advertised this year. But touching makes it on par with Thorpe. But I felt like the mazes were just much more intense than thorpes. For Sub Species I was split into a group of 2 for the whole of it. At one point there was actor either side blocking my way. They split us up by pushing and shoving. Molly crowe also had loads of touching, actors put there hand all other my face! Grabbed my neck, grabbed my leg, ect. It does happen at Thorpe, but not as much, and not as aggresive as SF's.

TBH I feel like Thorpe should handle this better. Speculation is ALWAYS going to happen when marketing a new ride.

So Scarefest is back! And it's better than ever! Day 1: So I started the day by a small drive of 3 HOURS! We arrived about 3ish, we got our maze tickets and then we were off. We got on Blivvy quickly due to the long que of 5 minutes.. After that we went to sonic-flopball which had along que due to it raining and only 3 per car. Then we went over to our first maze.. TOTT! Been to thorpe millions time to FN and that has never happend. And I'm familiar with the scare industry, but being attacked with condiments and facepaints sounds odd.Has anyone else been "attacked" with makeup, sounds more like FIA. Sounds very fun for people who have a allergic reaction to face paints...

I would say "attacked" is a exaggeration. If a actor "attacked" someone I'm pretty sure that's called assault.

After going on Sub species yestaday and today I have to say it is on its own scale compared to thorpes.It isn't just touching, I got shoved into a room with one other person and for the whole maze it was just us two! For the whole of it we were pushed, split up ect. Sub species: the end games is rightly in its own league compared to thorpes mazes.

The event isn't just "touching", or gimmicks. The event is a decent Halloween event with two new long good scare mazes with a old classic being revamped. Unlike thorpe they actually decorate there park with Halloween stuff.Also with family stuff and scare zones as well. Also most of the mazes are about double the size of thorpes.

For all I know it might be dead..I would recommend you ask Madame Mephisto in the Big Top. She's very helpfull!

I agree with Benin. Thorpe use loads of cheap tactics! After being on site today I feel like FN is inferior to scarefest in my opinion. Sub species wasn't jut touching, our group got split up and the maze had amazing actors. To Molly Crowe I found it was a maze with a good story which is eerie. Also the park has some good decorations which thorpe has never had..ever..

IMO FN this year is good. I gotta say I feel like scarefest,and tulleys are way better though.

Saying I'm slagging them off is a slight exaggeration. I just find it funny and confusing on how this happend, and the way it's being dealt with.
