I had to update it after going to Portaventura recently. My Top Ten Roller Coasters In Europe: 10. Stampida: After riding it back in 2013 and hating it, it seemed to be a lot smoother after riding it recently. The layout is great, the dueling element is cool, and the ride is fun. 9. Furius Baco: The definition of "Marmite" in the enthusiast community, so people love it, some people hate it. I'm on the side of liking it, mainly for the launch, and the hangtime on the Inline Twist. 8. The Swarm: Great Theming, smooth, fun. But a little short, and IMO forceless. 7. Dragons Khan: A fun and very forceful B&M. 6. Silver Star: Has a few good moments, just very weak Airtime compared to Shambhala. 5. Wodan: A very fun GCI, just a overall solid woodie. 4.The Smiler: Such a great coaster. Great theming, long layout. 3. Nemesis: Should I even explain? 2. Blue Fire: Smooth as butter, also pretty well paced. Plus the inversions are so fun due to the restraints. 1. Shambhala: After riding it a few days ago... Shambhala is like a heaven to people who love floater airtime.

But then again the mazes at Scarefest are way more Quality IMO. Even though Scarefest is quite expensive, its worth the money. Very Original..
-
Well at least the new ride will probably have a better throughput than Galactica.

Likes a rundown theme park called Chessington World Of Disappointments

Chainsaws are ok if used to full effect, but with Big Flop it seems to be thrown in as they couldn't think of anything else for the finale. Also TBH I can't see how a chainsaw would fit in a maze themed to a ghost train?
-
Please no. A chainsaw finale would be beyond cliché.. And Big Flop already has a chainsaw finale.

Nice to see it open! But I seriously think its Slammer time to go to the graveyard. I go to Thorpe quite frequently and seeing Slammer in operation is very rare, plus it takes up a decent chunk of space. #RIPSlammer&Samurai

Name everything Merlin has done wrong in the last 5 years.. That should take a hour or two..
-
There lucky, they got a free coaster climb..

My Top 5 Roller Coasters: 1. ShamBaela 2. Shambhala 3. Shambhala 4. Shambhala 5. Shambhala

Some new trains with lap bars would be nice. Standup IMO will make a rough coaster even more uncomfortable..

Incorrect, its Alton Towers's new B&M Giga
-
I also found the targets to be be hard to shoot as well.. Plus I found the new blasters to be painful every time I would shoot.. The "spruce up" made the ride severely painful and unenjoyable IMO.

G force is one that springs to mind, the restrains are awful. Other mentions would have to be Titan at SFOT and The Big One for being medicore hypers.. And Indiana Jones at DLP and Furius Baco also spring to mind for being awful Intamins..

Honestly I thought the roaming actors were awful last year. Specially compared to Tulleys's roamers.. Tulleys's roamers are everywhere and offer fun banter. I really think Thorpe should introduce more fun roamers as currently they are just meh.. Overall I'm a little disapointed with the lineup, but hopefully they can improve the event this year.. The event needs serious Improvements. Fright Nights were a joke compared to Scarefest last year..
-
Honestly I don't see Chessington getting planning permission for that unless they really get creative with the design.. Also space is another issue.. I honestly think Alton/Thorpe are most likely for a RMC but even that is a stretch.
-
Stampida, I find it to be hell on earth.. And I'm the guy who likes Furius Baco and thinks its smooth..
-
I have ridden a RMC in The New Texas Giant, and I gotta say, there so much better than they look.. NTG looks meh from POV but is a amazing ride. I wouldn't judge Wildfire by POV honestly, and if its anything like other RMC's it will be full of airtime and a fun ride.

Honestly I'm not a fan for Containment being a year round attraction.. Even if its free it will be kinda boring after a year or so, at Fright Nights it was kinda meh honestly. Honestly I don't think it will be a successful year round attraction at all, at Fright Nights it was pretty dead on peak days..

From what I remember its always been pretty rough, As other have said its all part of the Gerstlauer experience! And honestly it isn't like The Smiler's butter smooth..
-
The Smiler's soundtrack is bae. I also like Euro-Mir's lift hill music, mainly due to its the only thing that makes the lift hill bearable..

Its not being sour TBH. There isn't all that much to talk about as we don't much information yet as KingNemesis said.. Plus its just teasing, it isn't like were Merlin bashing.. They can always read the books... (There probably better than the film anyway)
-
After riding the spruced up Tomb Blaster recently I was disappointed.. The new targets seemed to be hard to hit, and the guns felt painful to shoot a target. Yeah there was some things fixed and some redone sections which I like, but overall it was IMO kinda meh...

Alton Towers Resort Furius Baco or Swarm?
