Hasn't Derren already been and tried the ride out? And it makes sense that they are congregating outside the entrance; they're waiting to be let in.

I've only once had a good experience on a Miami ride, and even then I was being flung up and around everywhere bashing into everyone's shoulders. The one lap bar restraint that covers the entire ride vehicle has to be the worst restraint in the history of restraints. Someone at a local fair actually climbed out of the restraint and leaped off the ride (it had just finished it's cycle) and left through the exit

Without a doubt the worst coaster I've been on is Kumba at BGT. The amount of shaking and headbanging gave me the most horrific headache, and it is just a terrible terrible coaster. The worst ride I've ever been on, that title either goes to Storm Surge or that Miami ride that is at every fair ever (yes, loads of airtime but extremely uncomfortable).

Nothing to do with the theme park at all, but it really bugs me that Land doesn't have a capital L in the thread name

People who have spent their money fully knowing that the ride would be closed as they've still got signs posted everywhere at the park entrance... If the ride was advertised as open, I'd be more understanding. But seeing as it is stated everywhere the ride is unavailable, I doubt many people are going to be too bothered.

I wouldn't be surprised if they do open it today with the amount of staff they've got in there. The mysterious black tent is also there too...

No surprises here really; Fastrack was always rumoured to be unavailable for the first month or so. But I guess if your paying up to £500 then you get the right to be above everyone else. Ugh, why can't everyone be treated equally and not go by the logic of 'more money equals better treatment'..

Exciting tent is exciting! Could be a sign that media night may be tonight and maybe even a soft opening over the weekend!

With the amount of secrecy that is surrounding this ride, it won't happen. All photography and recording is strictly prohibited inside the ride. I was even severely told off by staff for taking a picture through the window which shows the exit corridor! If someone does manage to sneak a GoPro or a similar action camera inside, it won't be for long. There's bound to be hundreds of cameras inside (just a slight exaggeration ) and if someone is caught with one they'll stop the ride, ruining the experience for all the other riders! And a pov would be a little tricky with VR headsets on... They'll be many spoiler filled reviews that will appear online when the ride opens however, so I'm sure you'll get some idea of what to expect inside by reading them.

So it's a park being built by Portadventura that is located right next to Portadventura that is completely separate to Portadventura. Surely it would make more sense to include it in the entrance fee. Yes I do understand it is to earn more money, but they could just raise the already existing parks entrance fee? EDIT: Thought about this some more and remembered Disney Wordl/Universal etc. I understand why this has been done

A few Saturdays ago the fire effects went of three times in a row! They did stop them for a long while after that though. Back on topic, it can't be long until we are going to get an opening date. I would guess this Friday for an announcement of sorts and then an opening for next Friday. Whenever it may be, it can't be too long!

While it may look very out of place, it cannot be compared to the rainbow turd! I do wish that the layout was a bit more interesting though. It is very generic.

I don't really think it was necessary to put this up on the board. It's like them saying, "Yeah, we know you're all disappointed that you can't ride it, but these people can and we'll advertise it to everyone to annoy you some more". It could've just been kept as unavailable. This is excellent news however! Can't be much longer before we see an opening date!

Could we get a possible retheme of Mutiny Bay to fit with the theme of this ride? Looking at the ride itself and the proposed buildings around the ride, it doesn't look very pirate-y. It could be part of a whole different area but the entrance is right in Mutiny Bay. The ride is most likely themed around pirate, but there could be some sort of new land in the making..

For all we know, it is themed around Nitrogenie. I can see the posters now: "This Ice Cream tastes funny" "End of The Bowl" "Nitrogen affects Everyone" This is going off topic, I'll conclude this here.

What if they started off with a very easy one that is near impossible to fail? And then as you progress the tasks get harder and harder. When I went through it seemed to me like that was how it was set up. The first one was easy and then the next a little harder, the next a little harder, etc. I highly doubt that they will start charging for an all year round attraction (if this even is an all year round attraction, which is highly likely considering that they've started putting it up in Spring), and if they do then surely a lot of people won't bother paying for it with DBGT just a few minutes walk away. This is all very confusing at the moment
