  1. Fantastic Beasts proves to be the better of J.K Rowling's two additions to her wizarding world this year. Let's face it- the Cursed Child was pretty bad.

However, Fantastic Beasts is not in fact a Rowling cash grab but a wonderful film in itself. Beforehand I was sceptical to whether it would be good or not- however I need the next four movies in this series like I need air. The characters were wonderful, and the plot was fantastic. The only problems I had were Johnny Depp as Grindelwald- he looks nothing like the actor who played him in the main series, and that the film was not diverse at all.

  2. Bloody hell it was a plastic 10p sword from ebay, calm down you lot! However, any toy sword can become a real sword if stabbed hard enough. It was at an angle where there was a possibility it could pierce my lower leg. My school isnt rich enough to afford homework diaries, let alone a real weapon*

*though there was a decommissioned 18th century gun involved in the play but let's not get started.

  3. I fell through a stage trapdoor last week after my school play's finale. I had a sword in my belt too but I managed to avoid both a broken leg and being impaled. All I suffered was a sore arse and the embarrassment of walking straight into it while in front of pretty much half the cast.

  4. As Ian S has said, I really don't care what religion you are, as long as you don't try converting me. I do enjoy RS class at school and I think it's vital to see what other religions believe in, rather than just learning about Christianity.

The Americans abolishing it from their curriculum was very controversial and maybe the lack of cultural understanding resulting from it has led to the much higher level of racism and general hate over there.

Another opinion I have is not to have religious schools, whether Catholic, Islamic or any other. I think it promotes segregation and discourages diversity. By all means we should learn about them, but in a totally non biased way.

Not saying I disagree with you but if you ask religious people the answer is that you can be suffering for your generation and your descendants' sins as well as the concept you are suffering to learn how to become a better person.

Ah yes, let's give this two year old cancer because of what your ancestors did okay okay cool.

  7. I find that it is mainly straight white men who go "oh Trump's not that bad."

Imagine being a Muslim person in the States scared because they are now facing an even larger amount of discrimination.

Imagine being a Hispanic kid who's terrified that he or she is going to be deported.

Imagine being a gay person who is now petrified of going outside in fear of being assaulted sexually, verbally or physically.

Imagine being a closeted gay or trans person who now never wants to come out because they could go to government supported conversion camps where they are dehumanised.

Sometimes you have to put yourself in other people's shoes and vote for what's best for everyone, not just you.

Please if it reopens and is sponsored DONT MAKE THAT SPONSOR IMPERIAL LEATHER!!!

It won't be imperial leather. They didn't sponsor Bubbleworks in its final couple of years and they don't sponsor the Flume any more because it's no longer there. I doubt they would want to sponsor Loggers' anyway, it can't really be changed into Soapy-mc-soap-face

I wonder how long it will be before someone complains to the Mail that they were offended by the till because "Christmas" is offensive to them as it conflicts with their religion.

It'll probably happen. Remember all that discourse last year about the Starbucks cups?

But we have to remember, not everyone celebrates Christmas. I love it (in a non religious way) but even then I acknowledge that it is primarily a Christian festival and not for everyone. I don't think it should be as bigged up as it is.
