Do they even have enough gold/lower supports to start vertical construction soon? Last time I rode swarm (about a week and a half ago) there were still only the same amount that was in JS’s video. Would absolutely love to see track arrive though, can’t wait until that happens!

I think that theme would be kinda good to be honest. I’ve never really liked the idea of the egyptian theme but if it’s themed like this I don’t think it would be too bad.

It broke… In all seriousness I wonder what they are doing there. Looks like they are screwing part of the track where 2 pieces intersect, could this be a possible issue, I don’t know much about how rollercoaster maintenance works.

Just seen new branding on the exodus construction wall, glass holes in the wall to see through with a gold and black colour scheme. I’ll get photos as soon as I can, there are people still putting it up now.

Will one be able to purchase something similar to that? It looks awesome and I would love to have a smaller model of it that I could display somewhere.

Could be a test for new colours, or just marking that support, but either way it is interesting why they are doing something there. Maybe it is related to the downtime there was for inferno a month of so ago.

I always hit saw and Colossus straight away then head to stealth after I’ve done those two. Colossus has always been a tricky one for me to get on if I don’t go on it straight away due to its abysmal capacity and inability to stay operating for more than about an hour at once 😂. I usually also leave inferno and swarm till the end of the day as by after 4 it seems both of them usually have very short queues.

I’m convinced the park have an identity crisis about the age range of their park every season. They should just choose something and stick too it. Also I think young adult also means people from like 19-25 or something but I don’t really know, it feels counter productive excluding certain people in my opinion.

I feel like thorpe park aren’t gonna get rid of stealth anytime soon. The park loves the ride too much to get rid of it and there aren’t many technical problems with it either. I think the park will do everything in its power to keep stealth open for as long as it can, even after exodus takes away its appeal; it’s still a unique attraction for the uk and has the iconic top hat too.

Is that confirmed? I know they are stating golden hour but knowing thorpe they could just announce the fact that there gold season pass is on offer just to trick us all. I do hope we see some advertising though, they need to start sooner rather than later in my opinion.

I was just about to post that. I’m going to be honest they are not the colour for me though. The gold just seems very dark, almost brown to me, I just don’t think it’s what I was expecting unfortunately.

I think the problem I have with the looks of that tent is that light will bleed through, totally ruining the experience in the maze before about 6 o’clock. But then I’ve never done a tent maze so I could be completely wrong about the light.
-
I would love to see a tent maze in that area!! I mean we do have the big top entrance mouth thing out for carnivals right now so I guess it could be a possibility.

I’m don’t think the all day pass is worth it really. I know I could have got lucky but when I was at thorpe park last wednesday the person on the door of Bozos allowed us to do the maze 4 times on our tickets (there were 2 of us, we had one ticket each). The people running the maze don’t care enough to stop people going in again, meaning the more expensive ticket to allow you to go in multiple times isn’t worth it.

You mean what was relevant 2 years ago… Angry birds wasn’t really that relevant in 2014, I think that’s why it kinda failed.
-
I don’t know about that, I think they would want to keep the crows in the same area as it works so well in my opinion. If they’re gonna use that space the park probably has 3 options. 1) Move the crows to a different location and put the maze there 2) Make the new maze themed around the crows and keep the crows there and use it as a build up scare zone for the maze too 3) Shorten the crows scare zone and put the maze there too
-
That is the problem, they are moving away from the themed area. They no longer refer to places as ‘lost city’ etc. instead just generic areas of the park. I don’t think angry birds land will end up as ‘amity’ per say, it may be rethemed to something that is very similar to amity (which I would want, I think amity cove is a great area of the park) but it will never be properly referred to as amity I think.

If you’re not at the park there not much you can do apart from contact support or register it on the website. Usually if you tell the ride host that you lost a lose article they let you come back at the end of the day to pick it up if you/they know where to find it. Hopefully they get back to you and you can find the phone.

Shame to see the state of the posters in the ghost train queue line. It’s a small minority of people that ruin the experience for everyone unfortunately. Hopefully the park can find a solution as replacing the posters will just result in the being ruined again.

I guess that is a possibility but I don’t know how the ip works with thorpe. Would they need to get another ip for saw to use it in a maze? (I’ve got no clue how the ip worked with saw alive) Regardless, I would like to see a saw themed maze though, if done well it could be very good.

Not sure how many of the people on here have seen this but thorpe have confirmed that they will be removing slammer on the annual pass facebook group. Sounds like it’s not gonna be there for much longer as they said that they don’t want a run down ride around when exodus opens so it should be going sometime soon. Unfortunately they said that they were not gonna replace it with anything new, which I think is a missed opportunity but oh well. At least it’s finally gonna go.

I think the park are cautious to offer a ticket that allows people through the maze more than once though due to capacity issues. The mazes already have very low throughputs and allowing people to do them multiple times (even if they have to buy tickets for more) would increase the queue times for the maze. The park is stupidly busy in the last week of fright nights and making people queue 30+ mins for a maze that they had to pay at tenner for (or more if they offered an unlimited go ticket) would not go down well with the general public and press. I think this may be the reason we don’t have free mazes too. The queues used to end up at like 2 and a half hours sometimes and the park just don’t want that to be the case on. Or I could be completely wrong here and thorpe just want more money, that is a possibility…

How quickly do we think the can rip out black mirror to put a new maze in there??
