  1. Weight restrictions, it'll depend what each host classes as an adult as to whether you may have seen this or not but it's been like this for a good 5 years or so now.

Explained in there, he's the creative director for all alton's entertainment stuff. He's also in TOTT, the character which is knocked to the ground and dragged off

We're rather lenient here with storms, the second it gets even a speck of rain in Florida all outdoor rides shut. Yes their storms can be bad, but they close the second any rain happens just incase.
  4. Good, someones clearly reverted some of the ridiculous loading procedures now their old managers gone. Saw a facebook post by chessington into them changing their loading procedures actually, so it sounds all perfect. Keep it up!
  5. Uhoh. Throughput killer ahead!

The sign is a nice change, however everything else looks awful around it now. Repaint the supports, it might look a bit better!
  7. I was very impressed with Vampire loading to be honest, very very impressed (well, considering the speeds they've done before and over easter according to many many many reviews online on geek forums and on trip advisor).

Just jumping back a bit - Merlin owned? For god sake. THEME PARK. Go disney and try and find a meal (which includes a drink) for less than 12 euros. Try it. Bloody try it. Or go to a non-merlin park and find a meal which is the same quality and charges less in the UK. You won't.
  9. Inferno dies in the rain quite frequently too. However it's not a waterproof guarantee, you'll be soaked. Weatherproof guarantee
  10. Yes get a bloody Mack. Mmmm mack.
  11. They can realistically say "thanks for your feedback, we apologise and we shall take your comments on board" NO BLOODY FASTRACK. IT'S NOT NEEDED.
  12. Hmm it sounds alright. It's pretty damn awesome when you consider they probably wanted soemthing very similar to mutiny bay's track. Wait, I've listened to the entire 5mins now. How on earth can anyone say that's boring?! You tosspots.

Yeah sounds like it. But it's proper good quality. In other news, their dispatch speeds were perfect today. Two trains, no stacking (well, stopped in brakes for 1 second on first ride). Yeaaahh. And they were loading both trains (not back 4 rows originally though, unsure why that was).

"this is going to be so bloody exciting, this". We agree.

I love how it's themed to be a next level computer game style thing! That's awesome!
  16. Actually yes, Blackpool seemingly allows you to stay til close. Oakwood - if there's a queue they'll shut it early. I've had the doors shut in my face of Spooky3D because they only class the inside section as queueline. Lightwater Valley - closes the queue early, if it's busy you need to join Ultimate 30mins before park close Drayton Manor - closes queues early. Join G force 20mins before if its slightly busy. To add: Flamingoland also closes early (even though there was signs on our visit telling us to visit their version of Guest Services if the ride staff close early!!!). All of these have been visited this season or last and experienced this, apart from mingo cos that was 2010 and I'm never going back there again.
  17. Ride close policy is seemingly adapted pretty much everywhere bar Merlin Parks unfortunately. It's a shame because can't parks really afford to keep the two staff on at the end of the day to run through a 30min queue? seriously?
  18. Fred replied to th13teen's topic in UK Attractions
The Smiler had 10min queues today! Far cry from this time last year when it... wasn't open. Well, last year queues in general!

Good piece of scaffolding replacing the old scaffolding.
  20. They've always done this with their foreign parks. I feel so upset for them. Not a new thing either, Heide has always lived off Thorpe Park and Alton Towers for everything marketing wise. They'd do much better without english owners.
  21. Fred replied to Dan9's topic in UK Attractions
Then you visit foreign parks and they load the airgates the second the train is sent, and not checks lapbars so must have an extremely high throughput!
  22. Impressive they extended ride close though!

Moaning about In the night garden when it was obvious in some of the shots that they were still placing the theming in? IT'S GONNA BE AWFUL.
  24. Do it poster size. Doooo iiittt.

I want it to offer similar food quality as woodcutters (so good, but not brilliant). If it can actually achieve this, or beat this, it will literally be the most exciting addition to the park to date (I adore food).
