Banned for visiting thorpe that little bit too often.

About time if this is correct!Keep chart stuff outside the park if we have to have it at all.
  3. Mmm nice plywood fence there.Take it jungle bouncers photo is on that website as well?
  4. Powercuts barely affected it, it's mainly the wind. Trees had blocked most of the main pathways by the time the park shut.

Equally if you're under 1.4m, you won't get on it.Height restrictions are pretty easy to understand really.
  7. Can definitely get AP discount, as they're classed as retail outlets.
  8. What a ridiculous caption for the photo though.I find these shops brilliant - get into a queue, get caught out cos it's gotten warm or taking longer than you originally expected, you're extremely thirsty, you go past shop in queue selling drink for the same price as anywhere else in park, which also gives you annual pass discount, so you don't lose out like if you bought from a vending machine. You don't have to buy from them, they don't shout out at you to buy anything either.People need to get a bloody grip when criticising over stuff, or get a new hobby.
  9. Gotta love these shops. Seriously, I prefer them to vending machines which used to precede at other parks - and hey, it adds up the employment the park brings!

First coaster my brother went on. Purely cos the park opened, I rushed over to it, he sat down and went "this is the first ride I'm ever going on". Oops.Slight soft spot for it, after realising I hadn't ridden it in years, went on it a couple of weeks ago. It's okay.Wonder how long it has left. Would be weird when it does eventually leave.

Oh wow that was crap.Definitely got on programme 6 when I last went on samurai a week or so ago.Samurai at chessington ran on manual though, didn't it?

    No more storm surges please.
  13. Voted excellent. No other coaster makes me want to visit that place more than that thing. No other coaster has ended up having a massive team discussion taking up my entire briefing at work before - and I don't even work there!
  14. Oh that's a shame - I actually thought the park would've dealt with this stupid idea and gotten rid of it.Too much to expect obviously!
  15. http://www.chessington.com/tickets/fastrack-tickets.aspxJust looked online, and noticed they decided to remove fastrack on all the small rides which just cannot cope with it.Woo for spending money for no reason last year. Well done whoever's in charge of sales & info there.
  16. Anyone have any ideas how much it cost them? This looks flipping amazing.
  17. Saw the advert up here last night. It's rather awful to have same advert as last year then plonk something else on the end.But seriously.. why the eff are they advertising in the Midlands? A total of about zero people will venture down there because of the ads.
  18. Some passionate ride staff at towers have spent a long time getting Duel into a better standard - the works not completely finished yet, however it'll remain as is throughout 2012.Still need to ride it, but I've heard it's made a world of difference. Looking forward to it.
  19. The ride effects are working now. And guess what? The ride ratings have shot up. People are enjoying it.Impressive. Though yes, still needs working on it. And they are.
  20. Doubt ABC are looking for improvements - they're there to ensure the ride works, and will continue working (oh and to actually get the leg ticklers and back pokers working). Nothing else.Everything else is up for creative team - who for some reason were working on Nemesis monster tonight. Not sure why, not sure if they're making any changes there. As for 11yr old enjoying it - all the young teens are adoring it. Loving it totally. It's everyone else who don't like it, which is fair. Think they just need to work on the storyline, not sure if they can change ride too much without lowering throughput (ride hits 800pph btw)
  21. It's gonna have changes, but didn't think it'd be in the case of more 4d effects, not even heard that rumour until reading this topic (cos reading this before ttf you see ).The ride is adored, and I mean ADORED, by the young teens. Everyone else is a bit meh about it - very understandable. The storyline hasn't been put across properly. But at least some people like it (and keep reriding it, like people do with ripsaw etc).
  22. Well thats news to me..What I can say though, is that the leg ticklers and back pokers will finally start working from tomorrow (albeit one gondola at first).

I want to go drayton. Had the feeling to go this year.Who cares if excalibur isn't open anymore. It's all about Pirate Adventure anyway!
  24. You can't judge whether it's working or not from just one or two days open!
  25. What a stupid thing to moan about. It's far, far, far nicer for all guests (and better for guest experience) for the park to open early rather than being stuck in cattlepens forever.People moaning for stupid reasons annoy me.
