Right so the ride that doesn't exist yet gets 6 posts but the one thats flying high and mightily gets a measly two posts.Seriously people, Gardaland is the standard. If you actually care about more then just a little island in Staines, Raptor is the ride to discuss.
This. The park wouldn't have wanted to have three family friendly rides with high restrictions. It does make me wonder whats happened at Mack for this to happen.Thankfully for Chessington, only Falls has been effected by this. Although I do wonder if Fish/Runaway/RMT will see height restriction changes to follow..
Ignoring the humour in benin's post for a second, this is going to hit Thorpe really badly and couldn't be worse timed. Considering they got rid of their kiddy area in promise of a family friendly ride, to have that restriction raised and two other family friendly rides to...It makes me think there is only a matter of time before Rumba gets it to..
Screw Lc12, go to the Gardaland topic and start commenting on their marvel of a ride. Because they've set the standard on the B&M wing-rider, so really, if you actually like rides (and not just Thorpe Park), go and discuss Raptor.
I think I'm actually in love. That station is gorgeous, that loading looks simple, the ride is so photogenic and the interaction looks to topple Nemesis and Colossus.I'm stunned and Gardland have pulled off something magical.
Wow, just wow. Absolutely stunning. Even if it rides badly that theming and the 'look' of the ride is amazing. Definitley my most anticipated ride of the year now, and thats saying something.
Raptor is How sad is it that from those POV's you can see where there is buckets of hang time and doeses of air time; it's simply marvellous.Thorpe's version is going to have to do more then just take me upside down to impress.
I'll give you that one, shame that it is quite literally in a place where no one can see it especially with all the new fencing around Colossus. Is it working still?Doubly shameful that it's Colossus's only piece of true theming to
Out of interest, show me a fantastic piece of theming at Thorpe that isn't just an iconic part of a ride but is just there to envoke a mood.To help you along heres a picture which isn't part of a ride but part of a restraunt. It's probably so overlooked because its so subtle...Yes it is from Chessington, but show me a few bit's of Thorpe theming to convince me that their theming is up there with the best of them.(Also using Tidal wave gas tanker and water tank will fail you because they no longer work. )
Last week it was 17 degrees at Thorpe, sun shining brightly and very hot. Warmer then August will be anyway . The broken handle is one thing, however theres probably a reason for everything else.
