650 is about the maximum if there are no hold ups and the ride has no errors. It's more likely to get 600 an hour though.

My only real comment is if you come at mid-day, technically the parks busiest time, then inevitably you will see queues at the highest they are going to be. I also get the feeling that if you were walking round the park avoiding queues because of the wait then, yeah, you aren't going to get on much. I'm not sure what other rides you went on as your trip report only mentions Slammer, Colossus and Stealth (albeit, both front rows which makes up for lack of other rides) but if you had gone on things like Fish, Storm in a Teacup, Quantum, No Way Out then you would have got on far more..

Question for you Micheala?I would have thought they would only evacuate the guests at the back of the train first if they were disabled. The reason I ask is that there is a video on youtube (I'm in a rush so can't go and find it) of a train which has been evacuated from the back at the top of a lift hill and because they had started from the back, the train was front heavy and started moving.Could you shed some light?

How about guests/fanboys who previously worked at the park and on the very ride itself. Benin and I have been the main people saying how stupid that restriction is so are we the ones that rarely realise its the law? And if it is the law then why aren't they enforcing it at Alton Towers on Blade? One rule for one park, one rule for another. Sounds a bit like the Fury/Spinball thing to me...So by saying "if people don't like it, thats their problem" does that mean you like the idea of people not being able to ride who could previously, having no free choice where you are able to sit or people queuing 70 minutes for a ride that three years ago had a 5 minute queue max all the time.

Fact:- If people keep making little knocks and jibes at each other then I am going to have get the banhammer out.And I really like you all so don't make me do something I'll regret.Play nice guys.

Oh you know me Mikey, my favourite rides are things like Dragons Fury and Megafobia so I stand by my view that Th13teen is an average ride. It has it's moments of greatness but I always feel like it's trying to be something beyond its capabilities and is never fully allowed to be this immersive, amazing ride. That's ignoring the hype because I didn't know the layout or the secret when it opened. For me it was all a surprise and whilst not overwhelmed, I wasn't overexcited either.

Are we talking about the days when the only major rides were Colossus, Vortex, Detonator and Zodiac? Nice comparison there.

Normally because there just happens to be capacity crowds at the park and they are only open for half the day

From the Huss website None of that counts on Buccaneer now. It just seems completely stupid. I can't see Europa Park running their Huss Pirate ship in the same way that Chessington are now doing with Buc.Although having seen the extreme lengths Chessington have gone to, for instance with Fury and Rattlesnake and their adult rules, I somehow doubt its Huss coming down on every pirate ship in existance in the same way.

I know that Blade has had the same new restriction imposed on it, but is it suffering from 70 minute queue becuase of the most ridiculous park decision ever.

Before the days of no air gates, you would fail to go and queue more then 10 minutes. Simply being, they need to sort Buccaneer out once and for all or get rid...Cause frankly, 70 minutes for a pirate ship is beyond a joke.

Where have you got it into your head that Thorpe Park gets 2 hour queues on a regular basis. And if it is, it's what ONE ride that will have the two hour queue, at the very most TWO rides will have a 120 minute queue. And I have only ever seen that at fright nights which is the parks most busiest period.Stop trying to spin everything out of control when it's so obviously not the case.

You're right on that, the turning track looks way to small for a dive machine train to navigate.I think its more likely to be a floorless or a mega coaster...
