  1. Without anything like a track layout or theme ideas, I'm still quite excited about this one. B&M haven't really done much recently with their rides, only upgrading the existing equipment. Music systems in headrests are nice but they aren't revolutionary. This will hopefully be a return to form and I will make the effort to get there now on the back of another B&M in Europe.

The only rides at Chessington you should take your glasses off for are Dragons Fury and Rameses Revenge. And I don't think you'll be going on them judging by your other posts. So you have no worries.

Add Loggers into that as well... actually Quantum is rather air-timey.Or does it need to be an air-time monster rollercoaster in which case we are lacking in this country.
  5. Or it's fantastic that finally things that have been off for over 6 years are finally coming back to life.

Dragon Falls used to be the best of its kind in this country but I think that by getting rid of the rockwork in 2005 (no matter how essential it was) took a lot away from the ride and it's not as good as it once was. Lets face it, the ride itself is pretty rubbish but the theming really made the experience.

Are Merlin going a bit B&M mad after the Intamin binge?

On some rides it makes sense though, I'd say Slammer is one of them. You wouldn't say "Welcome to Runaway Train" for instance.
  9. We get it now guys, please just drop the issue. MikeyT and Ryan have already asked people politely to get back onto Chessington discussion.

The unthemed metal roof was still there during the old Vampire days but it was better hidden when you were on the ride. Ever since then. the clearance issues have meant the rockwork was removed.

Lets see two viewpoints then shall we."Oh my life is so bad, I can't go on holiday. Why is life so harsh""My wife has alzheimers. Even though I can smile and pretend everything is ok, I can go into work and do my job I have to face a reality that one day, the woman I have been married to for 38 years, will not remember who I am, who she is and know nothing about the life she once led"Now, I know very well that people can only use their own experience to judge what is good and bad. But a lot of the problems pale in comparison to something genuinely distressing which is why I made my post, I get a bit fed up of trivial ranting about not going on holiday or not being able to afford something. That isn't a problem, thats something solveable. As for Outfit going for Gemma... Don't do it again
  12. Dont approve of this at all. You may see it as bit of a fun, but it would severely piss me off.
  13. Head to G Force first. It only has one train and with only 12 seats on its existing train it will get a queue quite rapidly. Then head over to Shockwave which even though has two trains, will probably be only running one.. and most of the seats could be out of action so yeah.. get those two out of the way then enjoy the rest of your day.I can't really recommend anything else such as eating as I haven't been for a few years.

You know in the film Alien where they are all round the dinner table and the alien bursts out of the stomach of Officer Kane.I think I'd rather have that then listen to that rubbish again.

Peopl who think the tiniest problem is a massive deal. Like on Facebook, there are people that are always depressed and always join stupid little groups devoted to depressing moods. Is your life really that bad?I'll tell you what is bad and what is devastating.Someone at work told me today his wife has alzheimer's. It puts life into perspective when you think that everything you do in your life makes you the person you are. What if you were to forget all that, to forget everything you've been through, everything you are and everything you know.It scares me how bloody stupid people are, thinking their lives are that bad because they can't go on holiday when really, they have no ****ing clue what life is really about.

Ah yeah, its one ride that actually has been screwed over by Health and Safety.

After Blue Fire, I truely believe Mack are the second best coaster manufacturer in the world. If Thorpe go for anything less then a B&M or Mack then even if their gate figures fly up, I will be dissapointed.

I neither wanted or over-hyped Saw for myself. Does that make me the winner or the loser?Either way, if it's a B&M I will be very happy. Or a Mack.Gotta love Macks.

I've had a think about this and..Depth Charge is thrilling for kids. Therefore it fits in with Thrill Capital becuase somebody is being thrilled by it.In a park where there are two thrill rides for every *real* family ride, I don't see why Depth Charge has to go anyway. I'd get rid of it on other grounds, but not the thrill capital rubbish.

At least we scored a goal against them. Of course people use the old bollocks as to why they didn't want Germany to win. Yes they did blitz us to hell 70 years ago.But they gave us Europa Park so I could forgive them for anything.

The people dressed up as Angels, Snow White and the Queen from Alice in Wonderland. Is that who they really are?Anyway.. Pride was fun. Although some people go to far, anyone wearing a "I've never kissed a Tory" sticker gets my undying respect.
