RandyAndy
This years ERT list.•Oblivion•Nemesis (new for ERT 2010)•Marauder's Mayhem•Heave Ho!•Runaway Mine Train•Hex (new for ERT 2010)•Sharkbait Reef by SEA LIFEThe three best rides available Hmm I have to say on a personal level that this years ERT wont be as good for me, I mean Nemesis at the end of the day (45 min before ride close) is always walk on when I go, along with Oblivion. I enjoyed Rita last year in ERT as its a difficult ride to get on without queuing. However I can see that they dont want the dark forrest /Ug rammed with people. That said il be using my ERT on 25th march to queue for thirteen lol.
James6
I must say I thought Thirteen would have been open for ERT this year, it would get through a decent amount of people in that first hour of the day, in theory reducing the queue for the rest of the day. Meh, Nemesis is back on ERT though

Whiteknuckle
I love the Dark Forest area, and the Corkscrews outside the main entrance, well as soon as painting is finished, and they are put up
Stokesyboy
I love this new map! The Dark Forrest really brings something to it and makes it more interesting Certainly Catches your eye first time
tidear
I thought the corkscrews were melted for SW6 theming
Coaster XTREME
No, apparently most of Corkie's track and suports were melted down, the Corkscrews were kept .

MikeyT
It might not even be open at this rate dude. I'm sure Alton will be more than happy to give you complimentary Ultimate Fastrack on Th13teen once all the technical issues have been sorted. James6
^^ You don't need to post the same thing in 2 topics! And it's so unfair that you have to queue? I really think your in the wrong hobby...
themeparkmad
omg ive been on the phone to ALTON TOWERS this morning and they have said theres now FASTRACK for 13 omg so unfair I have PLATIUM fasttrack opening day and NOW I have to Q for 13 NOT happy its so unfair that I have to Q !You said in the other topic that you spent £100 on the Platinum Fastrack mainly for Thirteen.I would reconmend that you call Alton Towers and ask that you can have them transfered to a future visit if you mainly got them for Thirteen and it isn't going to have Fastrack on that day. A-Kid
... what ya think? Its not a big as I was expecting. I thought it would dominate/overpower that gap. I actually think it looks great!
Stokesyboy
That actually looks so great!! Its a shame that they didnt keep it in its natural yellow colour but oh well still with it being there is a great idea!! Nice Picture
James6
I am actually pleased about the colour change, and definitely agree it looks fantastic
Mark9
Awww. I like it a lot and I am glad it's purple, the old yellow always started looking disgusting after a few weeks so hopefully this will retain its colour for longer.
Ricky
Wow - If only Thorpe didn't get there first....
Mark9
You mean like Alton did with Rita, Nemesis, Rapids, Hotels, Log Flumes, etc?
Benin
They could've been a lot worse...But I do like them... They are such a shade that it doesn't really ruin the atmosphere of the area...
Ricky
Thorpe went for that look of the Coaster track at the entrance First ... So yeh ...
Benin
^Maybe so, but it's not real track full of history on Thorpe's entrance...Corkscrew on the other hand...
James6
Thorpe entrance track isn't particularly iconic in the way Alton's Corkscrews were, people who have visited before will notice them and appreciate that there now in the entrance. themeparkmad
As Benin and James 6 stated - The Thorpe Park entrance has no meaning what so ever.I am really glad to see the Corkscrew as it certainly brings back the history of the ride and what it did for Alton Towers alone!
