Physics doesn't click with most people lol. I remember those stressful times! Good luck! x

Haha thank you <_<Well, I don't think it went great ¬.¬ Biology was alright, Chemistry was so hard for me and Physics wasn't too bad, I actually had some idea of what was going on :L but saying that I've probably done terrible xDAnd my mocks start in about 11 days. There's no escaping from these exams! But on the plus side, I got told today that my Citizenship coursework has to be in tomorrow even though that's not really fair because I wasn't in to finish it and hand it in ^o), I've just managed to do an hour and half's solid work of typing up from scratch an essay comparing magazine articles on cloning. 3 pages and 1700 words later it's finally done! Saying that it's going to get a rubbish grade (N)

I have a big rant, last year my teacher dident think I worked well in science, I got a 7c so obviously I lernt my stuff. anyway she told me that she was going to put me in a low set so I was gutted. at the beggining of the year I was gutted to find out I had the same teacher. anyway I got full marks in my foundation mocks wich is a C grade its foundation, she tells me its not fair to enter you in the higher whilst the rest of the groupe take foundation. so my putentul A grade has now been limited to C. today we took the exam and I asked the examiner if I could take the higher and she told me if I asked that in a real GCSE id be asked leave. "hello! this is a real GCSE." I am certain I got a C but it could have been an A!

I know how frustrating that can be. Although it doesn't affect me now (because I'm doing higher tier), I once did a French exam (Foundation Tier) and it was so frustrating knowing that the maximum grade you could get was a C. It just seems to take all motivation to do well away.

A C-grade is very good actually - I got 5 B-Cs, 1 D, 2 Es and and 1 F (History) and I did my GCSEs about 5-years ago, I'm 20 going on 21 in July 2010. I've completed a National Diploma in Multimedia and got Triple Merit (3 B's at A* Level) and I decided to do another college course, so I can specialise.I am on my 2nd year of a National Diploma in Business and I'm currently achieveing Triple Distinction (DDD) which is equivalant to 3 As at A* Level. I have just had four offers so far from Brunel (Business Management - Marketing) for a 4-yr sandwhich course with a guaranteed 1-yr paid work placement, Roehampton (Marketing & Multimedia), Buckingham New and London Thames.I've turned out very good so far (education-wise) and this shows that you dont need to have 10 A-C's to be successful- SO DON'T PANIC!!! <_< Sir Alan Sugar left school at 16 with no qualifications except bad grades in GCSEs and he has an empire worth nearly £1Billion.

My not-angry rant:Most people would think those grades are crap and that I'm stupid, well they're both wrong. I'm highly-intelligent due to inherited genes from Father and due to my Aspeger's Syndrome but because of my ADD, I find it hard to concentrate and I'm very hyperactive. Due to my learning problems, I was placed in the lowest set in high school and also because the school didnt realise how smart I was. In short, the school failed me and it's a fact that many students are made to think, that they are stupid by their teachers, who patronise and knock them down.If you (anyone) thinks I sound arrogant, cocky and up my own bum, that's your problem. <_< What am I supposed to say....that I'm thick and stupid haha. If I'm smart I will say I'm smart, no-one on here would know unless I say so - that's pretty straight-forward isn't it?I did my GCSEs 5/6 years ago and they are a lot easier compared to how they were at my age. You'll probably come out with some comeback that students your age are getting smarter, that's been confirmed by the government and the newspapers to be false and it's true that GCSEs are getting easier. I have friends who are teachers and have been teachers for 5-25 years and they have said to me, that GCSEs are ridiculously easy and that universities and companies don't find them to be that important (except English / Maths). This would also explain why A* Levels have been getting harder, because the standards of GCSEs are getting easier, the gap between GCSEs and A* Levels is getting wider. This is shown by the increased number of students who are going to college and are doing one-subject full-time courses like the National Diploma and Apprenticeships. If GCSEs were harder, the gap between GCSEs to A* Levels would be smaller and therefore, students would find A* Levels easier than now. It doesn't matter if you get 5 B's and 6 Cs at GCSE because that is amazing and in our days, to even get a C-grade at English, Science or Maths or all three was/is very good.

I agree, I currently have 1B, 6C's, 2D's and 1E at GCSE but its not holding me back, but I was put in the wrong sets and it annoyed me thus making just not try. Last year I failed not because I couldn't keep up with the demanding work at AS levels but because I had freedom and I used it. Now I'm back to 3 AS levels and I am struggling a bit but I'm getting the help I need and currently keeping my target grades. I didn't get the help I needed at all at GCSEs, for me atm AS levels are easier than GCSE for me.

Wow, some people really need to grow up! Thinking their lives are SOOO difficult compared to the millions of other people on this world etc! Some people just really need to grow up, its pathetic! Rant over! <_<

I never actually said that my life was much more difficult than anyone else's in the world. I appreciate that compared to most adults, I probably have quite a stress-free life. But for my age, and compared to my previous experiences, I am at the most difficult and stressful time in my life.

I don't think Rich's comment was very fair as alot of us hasn't experienced things that others have, also everyone has their own worries and you never know what goes on behind closed doors. I believe that to one person someones problems may seem small and insignificant but to the person its THEIR problems thus the only thing they know is that its a problem and its theirs so no one can really say stop saying this that and this when in reality we have no idea what goes on. We have no idea what a persons life is like off the forum, this topic for me is somewhere where I can come and rant when I have something to rant about I don't expect to be told what Rich said. Never know this maybe the only place they can voice things like it.

It was relating to one individual who seems to act like a drama queen. This person knows it's them so hey, if you haven't had any contact from me or wound me up, you know it's not you! I understand people have problems, as do I. But this particular individual thinks his life is more hectic and busy and so stressful compared to my entire life....Yet this person has only known me for 1 year out of my 22 years on this planet! Some would call it poor time management or just attention seeking and being self centred!

This whole thing with Gary Mckinnon being extradited is getting a joke now. Why is it so hard for them to realise that:1) He didn't fully understand what he was doing and was only doing it to find information, not to deliberately hack into it/cause trouble, and2) No matter how much they're going to make sure they "meet his needs" they're not going to achieve that because he has Asperger's. They cannot cope with change, they have to do things a certain way, have routines etc...you can't just send them to another country and expect them to adapt and cope!!I can't actually explain on here how annoyed I am because I'm THAT annoyed!! I fear people won't understand my point :)But I think it's just sick and an absolute disgrace...as my brother described it, "Could there be a more inhumane and compassionless decision ever made?"GRR.

I'm doing my Great Expectations essay for English Lit and I've done 1674 words, 13 paragraphs and have covered everything and now I'm suffering from a writing block which has thwarted my plans of writing an awesome conclusion. I'm actually going to scream if I cannot think of anything to write. And it shouldn't be difficult, as I've just got to sum up everything I've said but it's so damn difficult. *pulls out hair* ARRRRRRRRRGH!!!I've fallen at the last bloody hurdle. BAD TIMES.
