There are people who have graced these forums with much better and more realistic ideas than Ste and their ideas have never been chosen. They do what they feel is best for their park.

It was only a suggestion there's no need to take it so seriosuly besides that what your supposed to do on this topic, state what you would do, thats all I'm doing, I think it's very kind of peopel to actually read those ideas and say to me yep that would be a good idea, there's no need for people to put me down and say oh there's so many other better ideas and they would never choose yours

What I think Will was trying to say is that you're basically another member of a forum, who hasn't had as economically viable ideas as others, whereas where TP's ideas come from is from highly respected specialists who do it for a business and not just for fun. Most of your ideas Ste are very good, but would be very expensive, but in this topic, does it really matter about cost? No.

That's exactly what I am trying to say I am NOT trying to put you down and never said they weren't good.Your ideas are very well thought out and very impressive but they are not realistic as to the standards of Thorpe Park. They need to allocate money for themeing, the coaster, hardware, construction, ground-work etc.SAW as an example was £13.5 mill and that had its money for the licensing, the themeing, the coaster (£6M), construction of the island, etc, the landscaping, the shop, photo booth, etc and still with all that, went over-budget. We were told the zero-gravity roll scene would be of the bathroom scene from SAW I and that didn't look like a bathroom scene.There are people on these forums and also of SP who are much older, have experience, might have worked in the industry and have a feel and that realistic thinking of what can be done and what can't be done. Your ideas are something that easily be done by Disney, Universal or other big parks but for Thorpe...I'm doubtful. They might one have the finances to pull something of yours off but not in this current future.Furthermore, I'm not saying don't show off your ideas and seriously...the only thing I have mentioned, is your spelling and grammar.

I was responding to what TimR and not criticising Ste's ideas and my point being that he is not the only one who has tried to pass his/her ideas onto the park. As far as this topic goes, I complemented his ideas highly.So I have no idea what you (Mark) are going on about?

the coaster features a drop out of the station of 30ft and then travels along to perform a helix and exit the pyramid with light effects.The ride then exits the pyramid over the top of the colosus track and passes over it again to then perform a air time hill behind Zodiac and and travels round to pass vortex and performs a banked curve turn to then pass the beach and quantam aswell as rush as doing this the ride starts to climb up the lift hill and reaches 205 foot to meander round and plumets down 205 foot into the pyrmaid the ride then performs one fianl air time hill and enters the station.2018) Nothing done this year.

Very good build up to a very good themed idea and rides. However, starting the campaign in 2010 for 2012 rides? I think that would only work if it was late 2010 when the ride is put up for planning application. As for the TV ads, the general public wouldn't really care, so I think they'd have to be YouTube videos. Not putting down your great idea, but I doubt the general public would care about it, and would probably be confused by it.Apart from the small criticisms, very good.

I Would place them at the side of the ride so as they go by they can see them

I like the idea of an extention on Loggers Leap, but a backwards dive coaster? Doesn't that defeat the point of it?Surely it would need to exceed the height ceiling to get a decent drop, as the ground is unsuitable for deep excavation

People are already saying that Thorpe copy Alton these ideas aren't the best for that, and a ride like Oblivion right after they have launched SAW?

So you basically just want to make Thorpe Park a smaller version of Alton Towers? :PAs has been pointed out in the post before yours , it would be impossible for Thorpe Park to get a ride like Oblivion, let alone bigger.

I am one of them!If THORPE PARK purchase a Top Spin. This will give THORPE PARK the reputation of copying rides from other parks as there is already...Rameses Revenge - Chessington & ZooRipsaw - Alton Towers.Same with a Maurer Sohne spinning coaster.Dragon's Fury - Chessington & ZooSpinball Whizzer - Alton Towers.It is also the same with people wanting a B&M Flying Coaster.Air is already at Alton Towers and this can also give THORPE PARK the reputation of cloning the style of rides at the Merlin Entertainments Group attractions.

Realistically I think TP could get away with a decent new flat and a couple of rethemes for the 2010 season, then again in 2011, before the next coaster in 2012.Next year I would send Vortex to CWoA to get a retheme, as it would fit in well there and would be a welcome investment. I'd replace this with a big gyro-swing in the same place, as it is a better ride and has better throughput. I would also take this as a chance to re-energise Lost City, including a repaint of Colossus, additional paths and landscaping, and a repaint/redecoration of the dome. I would also like to see the space where Zodiac and Quantum is replaced with two identicle launch towers, and the removal of Detonator. Two launch towers have faster throughput than drop towers due to shorter ride time, and the location near the entrance could help eat up Colossus' queues

Thats exactly why I would like to see a floorless or a stand up.
