I know this is a bit off topic but I'm sorry for any offence caused in the past to you and your ideas,Yeah anyway your head seems to be bulging with ideas, I wonder if there is anyway you could pass them on to the park?

It was only a suggestion there's no need to take it so seriosuly besides that what your supposed to do on this topic, state what you would do, thats all I'm doing, I think it's very kind of peopel to actually read those ideas and say to me yep that would be a good idea, there's no need for people to put me down and say oh there's so many other better ideas and they would never choose yours

What I think Will was trying to say is that you're basically another member of a forum, who hasn't had as economically viable ideas as others, whereas where TP's ideas come from is from highly respected specialists who do it for a business and not just for fun. Most of your ideas Ste are very good, but would be very expensive, but in this topic, does it really matter about cost? No.

That's exactly what I am trying to say I am NOT trying to put you down and never said they weren't good.Your ideas are very well thought out and very impressive but they are not realistic as to the standards of Thorpe Park. They need to allocate money for themeing, the coaster, hardware, construction, ground-work etc.SAW as an example was £13.5 mill and that had its money for the licensing, the themeing, the coaster (£6M), construction of the island, etc, the landscaping, the shop, photo booth, etc and still with all that, went over-budget. We were told the zero-gravity roll scene would be of the bathroom scene from SAW I and that didn't look like a bathroom scene.There are people on these forums and also of SP who are much older, have experience, might have worked in the industry and have a feel and that realistic thinking of what can be done and what can't be done. Your ideas are something that easily be done by Disney, Universal or other big parks but for Thorpe...I'm doubtful. They might one have the finances to pull something of yours off but not in this current future.Furthermore, I'm not saying don't show off your ideas and seriously...the only thing I have mentioned, is your spelling and grammar.

I didn't say that the ideas that Ste193 presented in "Your Thorpe Park"weren't good and I said that they were very good. I was responding to what TimR said about the possibility of Ste presenting his ideas to Thorpe Park. To which, I said that they might not take him seriously because a theme park doesn't just suddenly pick some teenager's ideas and would prefer experienced specialists and the aspect that his ideas are not economically-viable:

I was responding to what TimR and not criticising Ste's ideas and my point being that he is not the only one who has tried to pass his/her ideas onto the park. As far as this topic goes, I complemented his ideas highly.So I have no idea what you (Mark) are going on about?

I've had enough of rowing at school so I beleive that we should all just let this drop, I'm still going to post up my ideas.I fully understand that it would not be economically viable for Thorpe Park to add in my idea's these where just suggestions, I find it very complimenting and satisfyin when people compliment my work and it's nice as I do spend much time researching etc.Anyways I know that Thorpe Park aren't just going to pick up asome random teenagers ideas however the dream of it is nice.I think what they where trying to say was that I could show some of my ideas to the park and perhaps they would think about asking me to work for them in future projects when I am older, however this is not the line or work I am interested in, for me this is just a hobby, a dream if you like, infact I would like to be personal trainer.Perhaps maybe someday in the future when I am older and experienced I could mention some ideas to Thorpe Park and Maybe, just maybe they might ask me for some help or advice on rides theming, desing and features etc.

2010) Construction starts and a orbitor with water jets called Miss Hippo's rinse cycle.2011) Thorpe park starts a new massive advertising campaing for three new rides in three years time, a banner is set up by fish and stealth saying "BEWARE THE POWER OF 3!A new advert is made for Thorpe Park and the new advertisment is featured on the website and youtube with scared faces looking up and then Thorpe Park is shown being surrounded in darkness, then the narrator reads "Darkness will fall upon Thorpe Park, beware the power of three!The park empahsises this more and it is said by all that something big is going to happen.A website is released in March that shows Thorpe Park shrowded in a black Haze, with the message in bigg bold letters, BEWARE THE POWER OF 3!The site has a video's section, a chat room and a gallery with one photo the park shrouded in black mist.2 videos are released in the year, the first stating that there will be three new rides next year, the second can hear cackling and bubbling and a hand with long red fingernails holds the camera.A new message appears on the website, Returning to the fiery pits.Construction becomes visible of five buildings, much suspicion occurs around the site and whats happening, the themed seems to be blacked out burnt buidlings?2012) The new land is featured in news reports and it is revealed that an old ride is returning along with two new ones to accompany it.The area is Called Lake Noir and is themed around the witches returning from hell after the fire.The area features:Witches Den- A shop.Boil and Bubble- A resturante.Rides:Witches Revenge- Witches Haunt retruns with the the the witches on fire, the witches in hell before the devil who looks angry with people being whipped and dogs biting them in the background, graveyard scene adapted to show the witches escpaing from hell, witches watch a undertaker nail a coffin shut that rattles as the occupant tries to escape and they cackle, they then curse a young beautiful girl who in the streets and who is scene again crying and sharply turns to scream and reveal a badly deformed face, riders then pass the onyl scene without the witches, a seance scene with skeletons where a balck cat sits and watches, then the wizard scene where the witches stab the wizard as he makes a potion, witches then create there own potion and the jars have screens on which display the riders names which are given on entry, the riders then turn to face a blade type mill machine that they narrowly miss and come to face the witches again holding blades in there hands and stab at them, they then finally spiral down the ball room scene.Salem Slaughter House- A mine train style roller coaster witch is completely enclosed, this ride is very graphic and a age rating of 12, it focus around the witch trails with Salem, with scene's of stone pressing, hanging, women being drowned, burning at the stake, guillotine and torture scene's as well as none relevant scene's to catch you of gaurd such as a large spider web with large spider, a cat on a broom stick with a dead rat in it's mouth, a snakes that rises out of a woman's mouth, the rides features, 2 air time hills, a banked curve the ride features no inversions and reaches a top speed of 45 miles per hour and reaching a top height of 57ft.Flow- A booster which starts of in a station building and then goes in and out each time passing a deformed clock and a witch standing in a cursing pose which cackles.2013) A new Maze is added to the Lake Noir area themed around witches and how they have returned from the waters being drowned to take human lifes as revenge, YOURS!2014) Loggers leap closes and is to be exntended and refurbished.2015) Loggers leap re opens and is know themed around machinery trying to cut up the log you are in, the new ride features two more drops and the new drops reach heights of 40ft and 65ft and the ride now features several new machinery scene's including a water mill blade scene like in wicked witches haunt, a swining blade above, a man with a chainsaw, spinning retrarcting blades rising and lowering from the water, and several saws placed around, the majourity of teh ride is indoor on the infill and is much longer lasting five minutes, the 40ft drop drops 20 meanders round and then drops then final 20.2016) X is closed and next year a brand new coaster reaching 205ft will be added to the pyrmaid, it is revealed the pyramid will not be removed and coaster supports are set up in the Lost City area and the pyrmaid is painted the lost city colours.2017) The new dive coaster opens called Fear, the worlds first backwards dive coaster! the coaster features a drop out of the station of 30ft and then travels along to perform a helix and exit the pyramid with light effects.The ride then exits the pyramid over the top of the colosus track and passes over it again to then perform a air time hill behind Zodiac and and travels round to pass vortex and performs a banked curve turn to then pass the beach and quantam aswell as rush as doing this the ride starts to climb up the lift hill and reaches 205 foot to meander round and plumets down 205 foot into the pyrmaid the ride then performs one fianl air time hill and enters the station.2018) Nothing done this year.

Very good build up to a very good themed idea and rides. However, starting the campaign in 2010 for 2012 rides? I think that would only work if it was late 2010 when the ride is put up for planning application. As for the TV ads, the general public wouldn't really care, so I think they'd have to be YouTube videos. Not putting down your great idea, but I doubt the general public would care about it, and would probably be confused by it.Apart from the small criticisms, very good.

I really like the Lake Noire idea especially bringing back the Witche's Haunt ride and creating a mine train concept that has got nothing to do with the wild west or sinister temples . It's a good thing to break away from the Wild West and try something new.Q: The Booster ride called Flow, where would these props/themeing be placed? You said that each times it passes in and out of the station, you pass a clock and a witch.

I Would place them at the side of the ride so as they go by they can see them

I like the idea of an extention on Loggers Leap, but a backwards dive coaster? Doesn't that defeat the point of it?Surely it would need to exceed the height ceiling to get a decent drop, as the ground is unsuitable for deep excavation

People are already saying that Thorpe copy Alton these ideas aren't the best for that, and a ride like Oblivion right after they have launched SAW?

So you basically just want to make Thorpe Park a smaller version of Alton Towers? :PAs has been pointed out in the post before yours , it would be impossible for Thorpe Park to get a ride like Oblivion, let alone bigger.

Yeah, sounds about right, Samurai needs a re-theme, and Colossus needs a re-paint.

I am one of them!If THORPE PARK purchase a Top Spin. This will give THORPE PARK the reputation of copying rides from other parks as there is already...Rameses Revenge - Chessington & ZooRipsaw - Alton Towers.Same with a Maurer Sohne spinning coaster.Dragon's Fury - Chessington & ZooSpinball Whizzer - Alton Towers.It is also the same with people wanting a B&M Flying Coaster.Air is already at Alton Towers and this can also give THORPE PARK the reputation of cloning the style of rides at the Merlin Entertainments Group attractions.

Realistically I think TP could get away with a decent new flat and a couple of rethemes for the 2010 season, then again in 2011, before the next coaster in 2012.Next year I would send Vortex to CWoA to get a retheme, as it would fit in well there and would be a welcome investment. I'd replace this with a big gyro-swing in the same place, as it is a better ride and has better throughput. I would also take this as a chance to re-energise Lost City, including a repaint of Colossus, additional paths and landscaping, and a repaint/redecoration of the dome. I would also like to see the space where Zodiac and Quantum is replaced with two identicle launch towers, and the removal of Detonator. Two launch towers have faster throughput than drop towers due to shorter ride time, and the location near the entrance could help eat up Colossus' queues
