  1. I've heard Chessington suffered from a minor power cut today (due to external factors), which affected rides like Tiger Rock and Tomb Blaster, as well as many of the queue boards. Problem was sorted out within an hour or two and the park extended ride close for some rides, including Tiger Rock, as a result. Not a bad gesture for what is still a very quiet day for the park.

  2. Talking with my "late eightys" Aunty, when I informed her of my enthusiasm for roller coasters she loudly commented...... "What? that's worse than tattoos, don't you tell any of my friends, up to now they liked you"......................right between the eyes!

  4. Well it looks like they are actually second to Disney on something now, although not necessarily one to be proud with. $22 currently equates to around £16.50 based on the current atrocious exchange rate. Can someone confirm how much the car park used to be? I don’t think it’s particularly big tbh. I expect the majority don’t park in the park anyway.

  5. Just as a pre-warning to anyone visiting for Icon, it seems that car parking is rising to £15 on the 26th May; I'd recommend finding somewhere else to park, £15 is obscene!
