Sounds like Colossus's problem is with a support from what was said in another topic with them working on the concrete around the support, its a shame but one of them things when building on the kind of land at the park, hopefully it wont be down for too long!

This is said alot, I dont see why people assume alot of money was spent on the IP because from what ive heard, thats simply just not the case, very little was spent infact and lionsgate just reap the rewards of their name in the press for a couple more years.

Is Samurai not a park model in the way that it has programmable settings which as far a I know the fair ones dont? Apart from that I dont think theres much / any difference.

Yeah I think this is it, I sitll dont get this though.. its not as if the first leg of the queue isnt right next to the launch track, along with thorpe still let you queue under the launch unlike at rita... odd

Whilst there's certainly a difference between riding Samurai and fair topscans, Samurai still offers a decent ride usually (although maybe not so much this year), which the majority of people seem to enjoy.

Was Samurai not already in quite a bad way when it got to Mondial from Chessington after it had been run on its top speed for 8 years, which is why at thorpe it runs slower to try preserve it abit more? Id like to see a "new" Samurai if I'm honest, it suits the park / area and is a popular ride, I'm not sure what else could go in that space either to be fair!

Towers fastrack Is the same as THORPE nowadays over sold and over priced, queues were similar to be fair... Didn't notice any difference between them on Sunday anyway apart from the 2 hours extra at tp

I thought that on Sunday when a reasonably busy Alton was closing its rides at 5 and I heard THORPE had extended theirs till 7. THORPE don't only spoil their guests with marketing!

Thorpe are not going to pay £1000's to create an advert which is a fairly big part of the ride experience to change it to adverts a few months later, ive no doubt there will be a reason for this and it will change back.

They also extended coasters to 5:30 to compensate for this, nice gesture

No, just closed off the last section by the looks of it, people can still queue under it, I hope they dont build anything like that either! To be fair, I dont see how thorpe can avoid it as the first part of the queue pretty much does the whole length of the launch!

Theyve replaced it before so I dont see why they wouldnt again

Its been like that since Ritas cable snapped.... even though you walk straight past the launch track in the queue and then queue under it.

For sure there is potential! But lets get 2012 fright nights over and done with first!!

I dont see where else on park Se7en could go, the Time Voyagers building will still have all the seats and may well be used for a show, I cant see them ripping them all out for a maze.
