Park Operations
To be fair as has been said alot of the time Staines road queues back from Staines to the Park so the barriers really won't make a huge difference. It's also hard to compare as the parks much busier now. 1000's of cars leaving a car park at the same time will cause similar problems, as I've said queue much longer than that at football and the charge is double thorpes!

Park Operations
What can they realistically do? 1000's of cars leaving at the same time will cause problems / delays no matter what...

Park Operations
Ive noticed more and more recently over the past couple of years that Staines road queues all the way from Staines to the park, which obviously makes the situation in the car park a lot worse too.

Park Operations
Realistically I don't think theres much they can do, whilst the barriers don't help they are not the root cause of all problems, When there are 1000's of cars all leaving at the the same time there will always be congestion, I don't think you can say 4 barriers cause it because there are ultimately only 2 lanes out of the park. Often after football I wait at least an hour to get out of the car park and thats without barriers!

Bubbleworks
To be fair they are probably more complicated than a typical fountain you would find in your garden pond! Sure it don't look great how it is, and Chessington and its Engineers will be well aware of that and is no doubt top on the list to be fixed. For all we know its waiting for a part or something, but in the busy Easter period they are probably better off having the ride open without the fountains working.

Angry Birds Land
Well before the area was kind of a mismatch between Amity Cove / Calypso Quay and Pirates from Pirates 4D so you had Amity Drop and Shop in a Pirate themed building, Amity Fish and Chips was also in a pirate themed building but then it was generally accepted it was part of Calypso Quay? If anything it makes it a proper area and not just a mismatch.

Angry Birds Land
I think the key words here are so far. Ok we are not going to have an area with Disney standard theming, but I am confident when it opens Angry Birds land will look good and be a massive improvement on what was there before.

The Swarm
Whilst obviously staff being rude is a total different matter I don't really think Swarms station needs batchers inside the station, people sort them selves into 2s easily enough, will wait for the front if they wish too. I guess the problem starts with the back rows, I think what would work better is to have no backwards row queue at the entrance and allow people who wish to do it backwards queue in the station. Would all work much better IMO

Angry Birds Land
I really don't see why its being judged so much before its even near opening. Merlin get an awful lot of stick on here and I'm not too sure why, compare pre Merlin rides such Stealth and Rita to say The Swarm, Smiler and even Saw, there are massive improvements in terms of quality and effort. I see no reason at all why this area won't look good when it opens to the public which is what still over a month away?

2014 Season
That said I think its only one or two less than what towers have? Another problem seems to be are how people all queue for 1 or 2 barriers, I've seen times where theres a massive queue for the far left one and the one next to it is totally empty but people don't seem to like to pull out and use it. The car park could do with a re-design but I guess its quite limited to what they can do.

2014 Season
The problems really only start when Staines road queues all the way from Staines into the park. 4 barriers is probably enough when you consider cwoa'a main car park has just 1...

Angry Birds Land
Think the buildings will look quite good once they are all finished.

Colossus
Id like to see the track painted but I'm not to sure if it really needs new trains. Sure It could make loading / unloading easier but I don't think Colossus is really as rough as made out and if new trains would make much difference

2014 Season
They are more accurate now, one of the problems they used to have was when they updated the old ones the system wouldn't update the board its self for a while, sometimes never. These ones update pretty much instantly and link up with the App so it does all work much better.

Vortex
The 2 bits of the lost city theming on either side are back now, looked like one of them was quite damaged a few weeks ago, they disappeared and now are back looking all nice and new!

Rush
I'm not sure if its shorter but it is certainly struggling to get to full height and the swings are quite out of sync.
-
Zodiac
Its swings and roundabouts, is anyone going to cancel a trip to thorpe because Zodiac is closed? Id say its a safe bet they wont, If it was Stealth on the other hand maybe, and when a major ride is shut Thorpe do display it on their site.

Port Aventura
No ERT as far as I know but their open hours are already pretty good. Would strongly recommend buying fastrack because they dont queue out there. For £40 for your entire stay its a no brainer.

Angry Birds Land
Id say its very hard to judge if anything looks out of place / tacky until the area is finished and open..

Angry Birds Land
The only thing detonator and inferno ever had in common was they are both red. Detonator has/had limited pirates theming to fit in with pirates 4d Not long ago people were crying out for themed lands - ok Angry birds may not be the first choice but it's the first themed land we have had at the park in years which can only be a good thing?
