I dont think there always is, back in 2010 rollbacks were pretty frequent and if you look in the console there are engineers in there and they are watching it go over each time so it seems like they were expecting it to happen eventually!

Its disappointing they wont keep it open till the new ride actually opens, but lets face it, this is ultimately the reason. I'm sure if the park was busier, it would be remaining open till The Smiler opens.

I think people maybe expected abit to much from all this. X is not a major ride to the park in any way shape or form and was never going to have a tonne of money spent on it. Like you say its an improvement and now guests as small as 1m can ride it I think thats a good move from the park and doubt we will see too much more change on it.

Maybe they wernt sure of all the restrictions till the trains were back? I know Storm Surge restrictions were changed late and ended up needing stickers stuck up all over its board..

This is just temporary! It cant open without displaying its restrictions so they could either do that or not open it I guess!

Yeah I doubt its any faster, I dont think they would want to play with it too much whilst its working!

A few people have reported this problem with facebook too, seems facebook like to mess about with URLS to annoy everyone else as well!

Colossus and Saw are more prone to stalling in high winds / cold weather than the other coasters on park thats all

Front row Colossus is amazing, love the view when you approach them inlines!

Yeah to be fair here, you cant just blame the weather for the delays, whilst I'm sure it didnt help there must be more to it to make it so late..

To be fair if I had "won" somthing and still had to pay for it id find it pretty lame, half price or not!

Id say both trains are pretty smooth this year tbh

I think everyones over reacting slightly here on just an opinion with no real evidence to back it up. As said, a more likley reason is that staff havent updated it or the system isnt working right at the moment, on my last trip id say over 50% of the boards were not even switched on.

That is correct, another difference is on inferno you go through the mist which wouldn't be nice in the freezing cold! Don't worry it will be back

I've noticed the speakers seem to work at the top now instead of cutting out like they did last year, quite quiet though

It's been off for a few days now, since it got freezing cold, I guess it will be back on when it's abit warmer!

Along with Thorpe queue boards not working very well at the moment, most of them are off, the info boards are gone and I guess will be replaced soon.
