I am so fed up with looking for jobs, having no luck, which makes me even more depressed and un-motivated to carry on looking. £50 a week from benefits is not enough! I'm not even on about going out, it's not enough anyway!! I can't support my mum properly, I can't buy my contact lenses which I need to replace my old ones (even with the discount from being on benefits), so my eyes are getting worse I swear. When I look at bright lights and look away, I then see whatever I saw elsewhere. Like if I look at the TV and then at the wall, someone's face I saw on the tv will then sort of flash on the wall. I never used to have this, so not very happy :)I don't have any friends where I live cos they have all buggered off to uni, except for my best mate but he has new friends now who he mainly goes out with. We met up a couple of weeks ago which was really nice but it felt a bit awkward and we don't chat as often in general like we used to, we're drfiting apart :DIf I had a job it would be fine, I'd have something to do, could possibly make new friends and go out with them, and I would have money. But no matter how hard I try I have no luck and no one seems to understand. I don't care if somebody else they know got a job - because they live in London and I live in a town full of charity shops! Big difference!And no there is nothing at Gatwick Airport before you ask.It's nearly October already, why is this year going so fast?! I feel like I've achieved nothing. Then I've got health problems which my GP can't diagnose. Fast heart rate all the time and weight loss for no reason. Had loads of blood tests done and they came back fine, which is good I guess but doesn't give an answer. Had an ECG and all it showed was that my heart rate was fast. And then there's the people that don't listen and try to suggest I have an eating disorder because I've not been happy! What does the phrase UNINTENTIONAL WEIGHT LOSS mean to you then?!I've been eating more and not lost any more weight so it's doing something and it's good, but it's adding to the stress because now I'm constantly thinking about what I have and haven't eaten and how many calroies have I had, getting annoyed because my clothes just look so big and unflattering, so I look even younger than I already do! And I just look so bony and horrible and unwell :DI wouldn't say I have actual Depression, because with that you usually feel down all the time, and to the point where things you enjoy are no longer enjoyable. It's not like that with me. It's more I am unable to have the basic things that I enjoy and therefore I am not always as happy!I have a great family and I'm very lucky to have them, I wish I could see them more often, especially people I haven't seen in a while like some of my cousins.But you need a balance. You need family and friends. I do have friends but don't have much physical contact with them. Don't laugh :DI just want a relief from this, some kind of high...and no I'm not gonna become a druggy! I've seen Trainspotting! (good film too!) But I just want to be happy and not have all this stress and depressing stuff anymore!

Bit like the flirting between the operator and Rob :DXNWO which was hilarious, as on Animation 2 when the train moved forward, I went "What?!" and freaked out cos I forgot it moves forward on that one! Although on Animation 3 it was weird, I swear this year every time I go on it stops and starts differently each time!Walked around and watched Colossus stuck on the hill for like the third time in the day. They evac'd it, although surprisingly they didn't shut the bridge off, so loads of people were nosing!Detonator. Which was AWESOME. I! Did it 4 times in a row (went on three times, last one was last ride of the day so went twice).Not sure what was/is up with Colossus, but the first time we went on it was slow going up the lift hill, it didn't do the usual where it goes up a little and then speeds up. And yeah, kept stopping on the hill all day.Rush was on one swing (swing B ).Did our usual and ate at good ol'Nandos. Food was way too hot, and no it wasn't us imagining things. I've been there loads and always have the same (Hot). I easily tolerate it, jalepenos are worse tbh! But this time, even the first mouthful was like eating three jalepenos at once! It was so bad my inner ears were burning! And today, hmm, not had fun shall we say. I don't know if it was the wrong sauce or what but it wasn't right either way. People will probably just laugh at this, but I'm pretty annoyed really, cos I didn't really enjoy it, took ages to eat it cos it was bad, and I've been uncomfortable all day so my day has now been ruined :)But apart from that it was a good day!

I was waiting for people to mention Rush and Slammer's restraints and then they did!^^that oneColossus in generalSAW dispatching, as the cars start to move there is this kind of whistling/squeeling noise. It's quite quiet, you could probably only hear it when behind the gates. And also there's a clicking noise they make as they leave, sometimes it carries on as it goes round the corner past Billy and before the first drop.Rush obviously. Also, one that no one has mentioned yet - when people are getting on etc, inside the towers (or what most people would probably call it's "legs" lol) there's quiet-ish, continuous hissing noises, I think it' the air/air pressure "re-filling" or something along those lines SlammerSamuraiStealthTidal thundering down the drop, then BOOM the sound of water, then an even louder sound of water as it hits the boat, the bridge and Soak Zone!If Vortex runs without music you can hear the motors (well the "spinning" one) when it starts spinning, it's the really high-pitched sort of noise. You can also hear it from the bridge when it's quiet first thing in the morning and it's testing, but the only people that would be on the bridge at that time would be staff, hence why I know you can hear it from the bridge (worked there in 07 and 08). And also the whining/whooshing noise when it's swinging at full height, again you could only hear it without the music.Zodiac going round it sort of goes "click click click click click" etc as it's spinning.Horsey noise on Quantum queueline announcement!! XDDetonator in general...and the noise of 3 clicks :)And that huge boom it now makes as the car starts lifting makes me jump everytime!Does anyone remember when it used to make that awful squeeling/grinding noise when the pistons got into place at the top? Ahh...school. Those were the days Panic-buying new shirts and shoes and trousers...PE kits LOL and having to wear the manky spare clothes they had if you forgot your kit. Ew. I forgot my trainers once and the only size they had were two different trainers, so I had an odd pair of trainers!I remember in Year 11 when sometimes the teachers lost track of time and left us only a few minutes to get changed before our next lesson. So we had to get changed as quickly as possible, freshen up/sort ourselves out, then run to Maths...and have the cow of a teacher try and keep us in at break for being late!

Well at about 11:40pm my plane landed back home at Gatwick airport Had a great 2 weeks in Portugal!Grr took bloody ages getting through arrivals though! didn't ger home til about 1am!The news about Michael Jackson was sad and shocking :(And there's a spider in my room not a big one (thank goodness!!) but it has a big ass. Reminds me of a black widow spider...actually I read a month or two ago about a spider similar to the black widow that is now in the UK! =O But it's not deadly, and either way I'm sure it's just a normal spider in my room.It's acting really weird...it keeps going back and forth manically...ok this is freaking me out!Mosquitos any day! Cos if you have the right stuff you can easily repel the buggers. But there's no stopping spiders...and if you throw them out they find their way back!Think I should go to sleep now

Went yesterday and it was busyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy and the reliability wasn't that great buuut I don't mind...I wanted to go to Chessie but SOMEONE drove past the junction :PX was closed all day, Stealth and Rumba closed most of the day.Did almost everything once except Samurai and Loggers which we did twice.Apparently we went upside down loads on the first go on Samurai but somehow I DON'T REMEMBER!! :PAnd we discovered that Rob is ticklish 115ft high up on Detty but not on ground level...weirdo

Nemesis at the back throw you around a fair bit, but if you keep your head back and put your hood up, it doesn't hurt your ears I can't seem to win with RITA...I mean I would have to lean so far forward to avoid my neck being hit that my back would probably end up hurting or something Does anyone have any RITA neck-bashing tips? I really want to enjoy the ride and not feel beaten up every time I come off lol.What annoyed me even more was the woman in front of me had her arms up and didn't seem to be in pain! I was bracing myself with every ounce of effort yet came off worse. And yes we were at the back, ouch! Went up to Towers yesterday for the day, had a great time!Got there for the ERT, though Oblivion was testing so we did Enterpirse...hmm lol...then headed to RITA. Not as good as Stealth tbh mainly cos of the pain, I'm surprised my neck hasn't bruised! Went back to X-Sector and Oblivion was working so on we went!Rest of the day was great apart from the cold! But I don't think it rained at all...which makes it the first time I've been when it's not rained, woop! However we got soaked on Flume somehow?! Like almost Tidal Wave soaked! Then we went on Battle Galleons :PPark was generally not that busy, which was nice.We looked around the Towers which was nice as we've never done it before (the scaffolding is gone now btw). It's a shame they have bricked a lot of the windows up and that they don't have any staff there. It's nice to be able to explore it freely but that also means people can graffiti without being caught and litter the place, both of which we saw. But the only way having staff there would work would be if they did tours, which takes away that freedom to explore, plus it's more staff, more money, blaaah...But we got some great views from the top!Also walked around the Gardens, which was very nice too!Staff were friendly and pleasant, also Guest Services now offer cards on which you can write down the name of a member of staff and what they did that was excellent :PRide count:Nemesis - 3Air - 2Batte Galleons - 2Oblivion - 1RITA - 1Duel - 1Spinball - 1Rapids - 1Flume - 1Twirling Toadstools - 1Blade - 1Enterprise - 1Duel - 1Had a game of Extraordinary Golf after the park closed which was fun, then went for a drink in the Splash Landings bar. Noticed that Imperial Leather have done their work on the Tipping Bucket, oh the joy...Unfortunately it went down hill at the bar. They've got some new cocktails on the menu and a load of new staff. Now I appreciate that, but you'd think they would have prepared them more (both new and old staff with making the new cocktails), because every time they had a cocktail to make they were constantly asking the manager how to do it. The one I had (which I have had before in the Caribbean) was rank. It's supposed to smell and taste a lot of coconut and very sweet and creamy. What I had didn't taste or smell at all of cococut, the first one I had was so strong in terms of alcohol that it gave me a headache straight away and the taste made me feel sick. Although I didn't want to make a fuss, we took it back and the manager tried and it agreed straight away that it was way too strong, so I was right, and I wasn't just being a lightweight!. He made another one (he was the only one that seemed to know anything about the cocktails), plus rather than using the pre-made mix, he made it fresh which was very decent of him. I don't know if it was still 'wrong' or if it was because I had such a strong taste of alcohol still in my mouth, but it didn't taste how I remembered it to, BUT it was a lot nicer and I was grateful. I don't know how it all works with the bar staff and cocktails, whether they have some sort of "training" or what. That sounds funny I know, but you can't put a load of new drinks on a menu and have the staff make them when ordered and hope for the best. Like I said I don't know how stuff like this works there, but from mine (and probably everyone else's) point of view, it was as though they hadn't had any instructions on how to make them at all and either had to ask every time, or just attempt it and fail badly.Secondly, at one point a load of staff appeared, shouting and acting very drunk. The way they were walking and talking...well you know when someone is drunk and these guys, I am 99% sure they were. Two of them were by a till, laughing and shouting "Where's the key?" and swearing. From that point on the queue was very slow, it took about 20 minutes to serve two people. Thirdly, there was a family sat near us and the dad (who'd also been stuck in the queue) had got one of the kids a chocolate milkshake. When they tried it they said it didn't taste nice and the dad tried and said it tasted of ice. Pretty P'd off, he went to the bar and asked for a refund. The woman took the milkshake and started adding more chocolate to it, ignoring the dad saying to her "No don't worry, I just want a refund please." And they were using Aero Hot Chocolate powder to make chocolate milkshakes. The woman then walked off and I think the family ended up leaving.It's such a shame because I love Splash Landings and have found the staff before to be very nice, and the cocktails that have always been on the menu have been lovely. I feel really let down by them :PI hope it doesn't look like I'm making a big fuss over some silly drink. If it had just been that my drink was wrong then I wouldn't have minded too much. But the queue issue, the way the staff had no knowledge of their own job, and the fact that some were clearly drunk...that isn't acceptable IMO.But apart from that we still enjoyed the day, as other people have been saying (and it is something I have always thought since I first went), Alton Towers does have a magical atmosphere...the theming does make you feel like you have escaped reality

Yup Stealth was 4 :PTeacups was twice (our first cup wasn't greasy enough hehe) and Fish was only once...and don't forget Detty!TPM got a shout-out from Rob on Zodiac :PNot sure if anyone else has noticed/mentioned this, but sitting in the back of a SAW car is much smoother than the front.Car 1 at the back was so smooth! However, in the front, it was the worst I've ever experienced!
