  1. Quite surprised some people are more worried about how a fence looks than the safety of children. In my opinion it doesn't even look that bad, at the end of the day, it's just a fence and it will prevent any accidents like this happening again.
  2. I applied for a really good looking IT job in Guildford (which is an easy 8 minute train journey for me). Just got a phone call saying it's actually in Reading (too far for me to travel) FUUUUUUUUUU!

  4. Just did a quick search on the south west trains website, your train journey will probably look like this: Heathrow Terminal 5 Rail > London Paddington > London Waterloo > Staines. This journey is 1hr 55 mins, from Staines you can either get a taxi or bus to the park. There is a Thorpe Park shuttle bus that picks up regularly from Staines station and goes straight to the park, from what I can remember this costs about £3.50 for a return. If there's a group of you going I recommend getting from Staines station to Thorpe Park by taxi as they charge £10 for the visit so it could work out at a couple of quid each and it's a much nicer and quicker journey.
  5. This got me thinking, Thorpe could play it as if they're bringing in the army (or something similar) to fight against the Swarm, which is why it's being added now and not right at the beginning. This could lead on to a 2013 ride where we need to help fight the Swarm. Something like this:

    Music

Loved the original by Deaf Havana, this cover is just beautiful.
  7. Is this some kind of joke now? Lost count on the amount of times these decisions have been reversed, pretty poor management if you ask me...
  8. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU, it's a wednesday so I don't have work but I'll be on holiday. Oh well, hope everyone has a great time
  9. Just thought you might be interested, Saw was on 4 cars today, 90 minute queue by 10:30.
  10. Each week in the next couple of months will be pretty busy with a lot of school trips. This week will probably be quite busy as will the last week if term. Your best bet would be this week as the weather's playing up a bit so people might be put off going. But I don't think there would be much difference between them, have fun!

    Video Games.

Pikmin 3 looks wonderful, New Super Mario Bros U looks stunning in HD, ZombiU has so much potential and looks brilliant! Then there's the third party games such as Assassin's Creed 3, Mass Effect 3 and Batman Arkham City which will be pretty cool, and they're just some of the games coming out in the launch window

    Video Games.

Wii U So it's E3 this week (where video game companies show off their new toys for the future), and Nintendo have shown the Wii U in a special press conference before their main show. At this conference they confirmed many details about the Wii U which can be found in this bbc news article http://www.bbc.co.uk...nology-18319429. I'm very very excited about this!
  13. I can't remember the exact price because I haven't used it in so long, but it's definitely under £8, I'm thinking it's around £5. Although every time I've used it the bus has been late by over 20 minutes, just be careful because it's not the most reliable service.
  14. 4 of my favourite actors and an alien invasion? Sounds good.

  18. Seen Avengers and American Pie: The Reunion recently, both EPIC! I never really got into Superhero movies, but after seeing Avengers I have Thor and Captain America recorded on Sky Movies. I loved the film so so much, it was a perfect mixture of action, witty one-liners and some very nice camera shots. If you don't want it spoiled then don't read on, but when Hulk smashed Loki to pieces after being insulted by him I couldn't contain my laughter at all, the whole cinema was in tears at that point. Also, it set up a sequel very nicely at the end, which some people may have missed as it was after the credits. A genius film that has really got me into superhero movies, a solid 9/10. For American Reunion, I was worried about this film beforehand, the guys were older now and the jokes I assumed would be stale and un-original. How wrong I was! Unlike the first 3 Pie films (which are the only ones worth watching tbh), this film has so many funny moments all the way through, as apposed to hilarious iconic scenes. Seann William-Scott put in another astounding performance as Stiffler (my favourite actor and character in any film). All the way through everyone in the cinema was laughing and loving the film. Only problem with it that I can think of is that they talk about meeting up and partying every year, this could mean more Pie films in the future. A 'reunion' film was clever and they got away with it, but I don't feel like they could really take this series any further in the future, and I hope they don't (unless they have some very good ideas for a future film). This was definitely my favourite Pie film and as usual it had a wonderful soundtrack, I'd give it a 9/10 (purely because there were some cringey moments and the first 15 mins or so was average). All in all, if you haven't seen either of these films, SEE THEM!
  19. I wonder if Swarm will get something similar? Looks pretty interesting and I like the comic book/cartoony style of it! (Using google translate) Translates to: had an old score to settle, and weld it back for, with interest, 16th May 2012

    Car Parking

Try going to any shopping centre or long-stay leisure facility in the UK, a majority of the time you'll have to pay over a fiver for parking.
  22. But then their argument is that they've lived in their house long before Alton Towers was as big and noisy as it now is.
