  1. I am going tomorrow, but I'm only staying until 4pm. It's only 6 hours in the park, which for me is another reason to compensate that lost time by buying either an Ultimate Express Pass or several Express Passes. The only concern on my mind is whether I will have enough time to get my money's worth of the Ultimate Express Pass. The other option for me is to just buy 2 Express Passes, and then queue for the rest of the day. I thought that would work out quite well, as I'm happy with going on all of the Express rides twice, and then just queueing for Rameses Revenge and Rattlesnake after I've used the passes. Rameses Revenge shouldn't have too much of a queue hopefully, but then again it could be longer as it's Halloween. I would usually just buy my express passes on the day as and when I need them, but as it's going to be busy, I am trying to plan what I'm going to do now, so that I can buy all of the express passes I am going to need at the admissions kiosks. Any thoughts on what to do?
  2. Brings back great memories . Those really were some class bits of theming. Although it's still a good ride, it's nothing compared what it used to be. It can't cost that much to repair both effects could it?
  3. I would love to be able to visit in school time, but unfortunately I am at school! I get seriously jealous at the trip reports I read with 0/5 minute queues all day, but it's just an impracticality for me. Even when we have an inset day, it seems to be the same situation with almost every other school in the country, so the park is very busy.
  4. Which is great for people who actually get inside the park!
  5. The fastracks on the day will sell out quite quickly. If you want to buy another one, make sure you get it on admission or shortly after!
  6. Don't worry, it has said that since Monday.
  7. Great thanks, I'll print it off about half-size just in case! Sounds great!
  8. I believe that the manufacturer for the boat ride is Mack.
  9. What, just turn up and get in 2 for 1 without a voucher? I would guess that a large percentage of people who buy on-the-day tickets at Chessington would use one form or another of '2 for 1' vouchers. There are so many of them floating around. Hopefully they'll accept a smaller copy, I don't want to use that much ink but I don't want to risk turning up and not being admitted into the park either. What to do?
  10. I have a question for anyone about the above link to '2 for 1' entry to CWoA & Zoo vouchers. Will they still be accepted if I print them off half-size for example? It's just that as it is it's an A4 page, with an entirely black background. It will use up so much ink if I print out the entire page, so will a smaller copy be accepted? Many thanks.
  11. Tidal Wave managed to stay open yesturday, so I don't see the problem!
  12. That's ridiculous! It can't be true. It's your choice whether you go on the ride or not, therefore if you chose to go on the ride, then you would be expecting to get wet!
  13. Oh! :PAs long as Rameses' queue isn't too long, then I'll be happy.
  14. Did the queues go down at any points in the day?
  15. THORPE PARK have raised on-the-day ticket prices for FN's because they can! People turning up on the day would rather pay £40 than go back home with no day out. I agree that it's a joke, but let's face it, how many people actually pay the full on-the-day price? You can get '2 for 1' vouchers online for free, and it's not exactly hard to pick up a deal somewhere, so there's no reason why anyone should have to pay the full price to get in to the park. I would guess that most adults manage to get into the park by paying between £15 and £30, resulting in very few people paying the full on the day price. Maybe 'Thorpey' (works in TP Admissions) , could provide us with some information as to how many people actually pay full price on entry.
  16. With the newly refurbished effects now in operation, it really is a ride experience not too be missed. I would say it is worth a 2 hour queue if you haven't ridden it before.

Has anyone seen the Eurofighter themed around Spongebob? It's called Spongebob Squarepants Rock Bottom Plunge!Check it out on youtube! I have to ride that!
  18. Seems unlikely, seeing as how Thorpe Park just installed a Eurofighter, and that how Chessington's target market would not really be stimulated by a new Eurofighter. Nice idea though! .
  19. Does anyone have information as to why Detonator's down at the moment? I can't remember seeing Detonator having a period of downtime for longer than a day before, and this time it's been down since Monday.
  20. Thanks for the helps guys!Another quick question: Can I purchase my Express Passes from the Admissions kiosks when I buy my on-the-day tickets? I don't want to buy them online anymore, but I'm afraid that they might have sold out by the time I get into the park when it opens at 10am.
  21. What time does Black Forest Haunt open?
