  1. Great video, there's a real warm atmosphere between all the staff! :PAnd oh my gosh.... 2.16 -> James Corden?

I'm so glad Tidal had a repaint earlier this year, just found an image of the ride in late 07: http://moblog.net/media/s/t/a/stato/thorpe-park-tidal-wave.jpgRepulsive if you ask me.

    That is certainly rather obscure.
  4. I completely agree with that. Most of the people I know at school go to Thorpe Park maybe once or twice a year, and really have a fantastic time. I go once or twice a month usually, and although I enjoy every visit, I don't seem to have such an enthusiastic reaction when returning from a visit as my other friends do. I also go to theme parks with my friends for the 'social aspect' of it, although I do love riding rides and attractions. If I lived closer to either Thorpe, Chessington or Alton, then I would definitely visit more often, but I still think that visiting at least once a month when living over 50 miles away is quite excessive. But then again, I don't care! My friends at school say that I visit theme parks too much, but if I enjoy doing it, then why should it be a problem?

This attraction of yours sounded great from the first moment you told us about it. I can tell that you certainly put a lot of effort into it, and I'm so glad it was a success for you.

Each to their own opinion, but I think that it's a great name for Chessington. If THORPE PARK named a new ride Cobra in Amity Cove, then yes it would be terrible, but it's in a completely fitting area at Chessington.

Yes, my legs are always like jelly when I get out of my seat!

I was so impressed by the park-wide lighting effects. The majority of green lights look good, although I'd like to see some more reds / neon blues around. I don't know if anyone can related to this, but there are some nice blue colored lights in the Colossus queue to the right of the bridge under the trees next to the lake. I would love to see some more of this light colour around the park.

That really does look very exciting!

I do like Detonator, although it is the only ride in the park now that still scares me every time I ride. I'll happily go on SAW, Stealth, Colossus, you name it, without even being the slightest bit bothered about it. Queueing for Detonator really scares me every time.

I'm quite behind on this whole 2010 topic, and didn't know about the name of the ride or the name of the area. I love Cobra and I love Wild Asia! It wouldn't be my first preference of ride name usually, but it seems to fit in really well with Chessington.

I completely agree, when you exit the tunnel, it feels as though you are no where near a theme park, (apart from the fact that you are on a log flume )
  13. I don't have any specific dates for trips, but I know that I am going at least once in the next week, and that I am going on either Saturday 7th November or Sunday 8th November. Hopefully, I'll be going to Chessington on October 31st as well.

There is great opportunity to do something spectacular with the crossbows. The whole scenes always feel very anti-climatic and dissatisfying to me.

I have to agree with Jake and Keith here, the squirting body is currently the best I've every seen it. Riding over it looked very similar to the power of the Rameses jets, and every member of my row in the SAW car got thoroughly wet.

Time Voyagers is currently unavailable, due to the SAW: The Movie 'Bites' show being introduced into the theatre, which will be opening on Friday 23rd October 2009. Therefore, we can expect to see Neptunes Beach and Time Voyagers unavailable until 2nd November 2009. Thinking about it, Neptunes Beach will probably remain closed until next season now.

Oh right, thanks! Now, saying it back in my head I don't know why I didn't understand it before!

Does anyone know what three words are said during the FN Nemesis Inferno 09 dispatch theme? I've heard it 4 or 5 times now, but I couldn't actually work out what was being said.

That's fair, college is important and if people are not willing to work then they shouldn't be there! There is a similar situation now in most of my Year 11 classes. Whereas in Year 7, 8 and 9 you would have trouble-makers, the noisy ones, the ones that never did any work etc, in Year 11 it's more of a case of, if you're not going to work or behave, then you're out. It's quite clear that this is the situation for everyone, and most people just put their heads down and get on with the work.

Our teachers are only really strict if you persistently forget your homework, week after week. If you have a relatively good track record with previous homeworks, then you can usually get away with asking for an extension of up to 2 weeks if you need it.

I'm in quite a handy position in most of my subjects, in that I have handed in most of my homework pieces on time this year. So basically, if one day I forget to do a piece or bring it in late, I will be excused from a detention or something similar.

Have fun in your work experience James!I'm only looking to complete one week of work experience, the other week will be doing something different. Travel is not a problem for me, I can easily arrange a lift there and back every day. If that fails, the train isn't too expensive. Thanks James, hopefully I will receive a positive response!

Just sent in my Work Experience applications to 12 different places, two of which were Chessington and THORPE PARK. I understand that THORPE PARK very rarely offer work experience placements, but it was worth a shot. I thought I'd get in there nice and early.... my work experience period isn't until July 2010.

I have so much coursework at the moment. Today, we were given back our music coursework (which should have been given back months ago), and now I have to re-do that, because the teacher was so late in giving it back to us!
