  1. Oh that's not too bad. Thank you
  2. I'm just trying to plan my Halloween Hocus Pocus visit this year. I've never been before, but does it usually get that busy? I would guess that most people go home around 6pm, but can anyone give me an idea of the maximum queue times that I'll be looking at?
  3. I love the runaway train cabin!

That makes perfect sense!Ok thanks. I'll tuck some money in my pocket for fastracks then.
  5. I would guess things like ride effects, (water fountain in tunnel, water shoots etc).
  6. I'd seen that image before, but I was hoping that it was something a bit more exciting than a playground!

I haven't been to Fright Nights outside of half-term before, and I'm going on the 17th next week. I know no one can predict the future, but has anyone been before outside of half term, and if so could you give me some average queue times? I know it's going to be busy, but I'm not expecting it to be as busy as half term. We're staying from 10am - 10pm so we'll have plenty of time.
  8. Well I think it's a fantastic idea. Especially for first time meet-uppers, as it will avoid the awkward situation of trying to work out who is who.
  9. Mr Rabbits Tropical Travels was a slow moving boat ride around the Calypso jungle, and unfortunately I don't know what Trappers Trail was.
  10. Ok I think we've milked that one enough now, back on topic with trip reports please.

I love the way that at the bottom of the advert it says, "Go to altontowers.com/2010 for more information", and when you log on to that website, it is just a picture of that advert. :blink:Great advert though, really intriguing.

Woah! :blink:My smallest class is Drama and that has around 18/19 in it.

Sounds good. If it is going to be lit up, that will look good behind the illuminated flame of Tidal.

Well at 10pm it is very rare to find a 2 hour queue, so probably not. Most of the queue lines at 10pm will probably be around 30-60 minutes maximum I would imagine.

My GCSE class is full. (35 people)

I'm very much like the old Mark. I will go on any ride if it has a short queue. Even if it is less than 0 degrees, I will still go on Tidal Wave if there is no queue. Two years ago, Tidal Wave was walk-on at 7pm, and I had 11 rides in a row. That was a great day, even if it was slightly bloomin' freezing!

It has just occurred to me that I haven't been on Flying Fish since last season! I will make it a top priority to ride it next week.

I'm going to Fright Nights this year, but I'm not going to queue over an hour for any maze (even if I haven't been on it before). I'm going to get in the Asylum queue before 4pm, and do that as soon as possible. Then I'll probably just do the rides. If I have to resort to fastrack, then I would much rather buy a fastrack for rides than for the mazes.

To be honest, I thought that GCSE French would be a lot harder than I am finding it. I have just finished my "School" coursework, all 469 words of it . Our teacher said that to get an A*, you need to put a subordinate clause in every (well, pretty much) sentence. I thought that this would be impossible, but will a little extra effort, I did manage to do it.

Go to Thorpe Park (as I mentioned on the other topic! )Love or Money?
  23. If I were you, I would go with your friends. If you said that it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, then I might say go to the football thing. If there are going to be plenty of other matches in the future, then I would go out with your friends.

StainesDragon's Fury: Going up the lift hill facing backwards or forwards?
  25. That's not a reason to stop me going. Yes, they can be unpleasant, but that's only a small minority. Most of them are just there to enjoy the day like you are. Anyway, this year the chav count seems to be on the decrease!
