I'm actually going to Alton Towers on Friday the 20th with two mates but should we have bounceback and they can be persuaded we could perhaps pop in on the Saturday for a few rides
The entrance to the projector room looks so sad and knackered Thing is, that's what happens when budgets are cut and you make the exterior of an entrance from plywood.
If it isn't gobbling up queues then it makes sense not compounding the issue by limiting fast-track - so if that's the case then that's a good decision.
Fair play Thorpe - £10 for 4pm-10pm is a good shout - heck I might even go myself
Interesting that DBGTROTD is only included in the very top fast-track package - I guess that means the queues will be kept down (ish).
The caption underneath the photo on the itv article should read "Roller coaster tester Jordan Middleton 27 is one of the first people to experience the new ride sitting in the station of 'The Walking Dead: The Ride'"
Glad I'm not visiting until April 20th so the crowds will have subsided - that must be a quiet week as the park isn't open all week - have double checked it's not a school holiday obviously
If you look reaaaaaalllly carefully you can see where it used to say Thorpe Park on the front of those amazing trains. Ahem. Second only to Disney, lads!
I'm only going on the 24th to ride Loggers, Slammer, X & Rocky Express tbh so will be heading straight to guest services if any of these rides are not available.
"It’s 15 out of ten on the scare scale.”
(John Burton, Thorpe Park)
Look forward to having a t-shirt with that printed on it in time for Ministry of Sound meet-up

If the trains look like the concept art then that will be nice I suppose.
Also, the X Page is still on the line up - with Walking Dead The Ride (Now to be termed as XNWOTWDTR) of course #1 on the rides page.
Today's the day lads!
Jart and I have taken the day off work in anticipation of the announcement and we're holding a street party in our road for the arrival of the Safe Zone.
