  1. Winter hiatus now over, construction continues... http://projekthelix.se/monteringen-ar-igang-igen/
  2. I'm getting more and more hyped for this...

    Abolish Fastrack, done...
  4. Magic Hours do exist in the Magic Kingdom park, in Discoveryland and Fantasyland, which means half the park can be done in a morning before the plebs arrive... Then you can position yourself to join the massive crowd to BTM... As for Crush's Coaster, I did maintain that it should be ridden first, though I'm not too sure about the affect of Toy Story Land on it on a busy day these days... It could well be that it's settled as I've had to queue the 90 minutes with the whole thing full... Not fun...
  5. Not sure why Fright Nights is free for Premium Pass people but not Summer Nights... Is it because it's not as financially assured to be a success? Probably...
  6. In other words, you ain't gonna get anything from that entry... #cynical

Chessie did similar for Vampire no? Probs wanna focus the efforts on CBeebies Land, whilst next year have an event on what would be a quiet one...

    Oakwood

Until it gets some decent transport links though it'll never be as good as it should be...
  9. Trail of the Kings is even worse... But they can't prevent the movement of the ground they're located on to be fair...
  10. Stickers on the Central Line
  11. Had to pay last year if I recall... Mainly due to it being out of hours I guess... Sure there will be some actual answers to the question... Jesus they're months away...
  12. I've always thought the Carousel would be better suited to sitting in the middle of Market Square tbh, but I doubt that's what'll happen... And plus 1 for "Chessie's decisions recently and attempts to return to their former glory days are falling incredibly short"...
  13. Maybe Chessie have realised that the only way to improve the park is start again? Looks so much more open that area now, which is a good thing...
  14. Well, this is a bump... 2015 is another coaster year for Gardaland, and it's looking likely to be a B&M Dive Machine, possibly related to Krake more than one of the bigger American cousins... Some visual confirmation spotted on Coasterforce... Their drop tower is apparently closed for this year as well...
  15. It's blatently a temporary measure because they don't want people going expecting a cafe and finding a pile of ashes scattered around...
  16. Tbh, it doesn't really matter who the manufacturer is... Just be glad to have a major coaster in Ireland (which might hopefully kick it's industry up a notch into actually existing)...
  17. Tis an old photo and it seems we haven't heard any further developments on the situation, but I hope it does happen, because the current trains do cause a headache...
  18. Sounds like every single Merlin attraction ever built actually... We were all naive 5 years ago...
  19. There are a few partner hotels by DLP which are serviced to the train station/Disney Village via free buses... I think you can look at them on the official booking website, but I cannot remember (mainly because sod staying at one of them again, but when money is an issue, tis worth it)... Towers have got a 35% off deal going atm... Worth checking that, and will probably work out a lot cheaper than DLP due to transport (Eurostar prices </3)... But at the end it's probably down to personal preference... Gonna miss the new stuff at both parks (Ratatouille opening later this year, unconfirmed when) so it doesn't really matter where you go...
  20. I know that's what most people's reactions are to Zamperla rides but it's a tad over the top...
  21. If only we would get a Forbidden Eye (or preferably, Crystal Kingdom at DisneySea) clone, but only if it's longer, I felt that it was just ridiculously short... If only Paris would get Soarin... Or World of Colour... Or a Little Mermaid ride... Or any of the rides planned but never coming to fruition... Silly Paris...
  22. Alternatively, with the building they could have done something interesting with the facade, rather than just, a warehouse... Whilst apparently fitting with the theme, on a theme park scale it doesn't look good... They could have extended the indoor queue, if we're worried about fire exit signs ruining the atmosphere (Really?), then the way to combat it is to make the queueline interesting... How they missed out the opportuinity of making Saw's queue interactive beyond some air guns is actually quite daft... Then again the theme is such that the traps need people in them to be half interesting, which naturally stopped happening when cost got involved... The size of the building itself really isn't the issue (aside from being a huge SHED), it's how they used (or didn't) use the space to their advantage... I wonder how much dead space there actually is inside there... As for the gaps to provide air flow... Did the designers not hear of air conditioning? I mean, in 2009 it wasn't exactly a new concept, when you're designing a ride with a rather scary theme, why would you even consider having such an idea to ventilate the building? Surely the idea would be to make the inside as dark and intimidating as possible, or is that just me thinking logically and thematically? I think the main issues stems from that the quality of UK theming is so low these days that Saw is considered a high point... That and the whole poor design choices of the project (something that has plagued all of Merlin's additions)...
