This really has had worse downtime then Thirteen had, its shambolic this is now!

Interesting that the trailer shown for the Saw one is the final film. I wonder if there's any chance that an additional scene might be added from that film then; though I do have some doubts in honesty.
And yeah, the CITW description has been updated, including the scenes. Based on the new description, I wonder if there are not only alternative routes, but also alternative endings as well?

I sent them an email back, and had one back saying it was an error on their part.

It's surprising how much this simple feature enhances this ride. I usually love it, but found it dire over the summer without water. Glad they are back working.

That's unlikely if they have removed the signage.
It would also be disappointing, because anyone viewing that page will expect another scare attraction to be revealed, not a ride that has been broken re-opening.

shame really , I was very exited for it !

I visited Chessington today with my family and it was a very strange day indeed. The park was the quietest I have ever seen it and it is my home park. Every single ride was a walk on, and I even had a Rattlesnake car to myself . Vampire was only running on one train, but regardless of that the queue was maybe 1 minute. I had a ride on Kobra which was fun as it gives a nice breeze of air. However, there was one thing I didn't feel was so good. On all the other rides all the ride hosts sent us off regardless of how many there were. Tomb Blaster was a different situation. When all of us sat down in our places, the person who was directing people onto the train decided to have a chat with the ride controller, even though nobody was in the queue. I would guess that some 2, nearly 3 minutes passed before more people arrived at the station. Even though some people came, the lady continued talking with her little group. Then maybe 5 minutes passed before we were dispatched (I just reminded my self of RCT3 while typing this). Other than this little thing, the whole day was great. I liked the hosts on the Safari Sky ride, cheerful bunch. Also through the day, I kept on thinking how better the park would be if they added a new rollercoaster, most preferably a GCI. Anyway, as I had travelled today I took some photos of anything of interest I saw at the park, which you will see below.
Before I forget, I was able to ride Zufari today. Unfortunately I have some bad news in regards to the cave. The whole water system, except the mist makers, were working. The speakers and lights made the area seem as if something bad was going to happen. But nothing happened. The cave would have been much better with the water effects which is a pity that none of them were working today. I did see however that the elephant on Dragon Falls was being worked on, I think, unless there is a system underneath the elephant that has nothing to do with it.
A new area being built beside the Pizza and Pasta Buffet.

Here's one idea I possibly have when the Vampire is removed from the park whether that be in a few years time or another 23 years. The idea likely has big flaws but here goes.
The ride is replaced by a B&M wing rider which uses the same station which to cater for this is completely stripped out and the structure tampered with for expansion of the building.
The ride will have one or two lift hills with the first concealed by a housing building to enable this. The ride will fly around much like vampire but with a few inversions and depending on length will have a second lift where it will fly through Transylvania again but then enter more exciting loops as well as going through a dark tunnel with effects.
The ride will also have a Transylvanian theme with a ride plot against how an angry vampire wanted revenge or something.
To reduce noise, the track will be filled with lots of sand with possible barriers around the area blended in to conceal further remaining noise as well as a green and brown track colour to blend in also.
I'm sure it's a heavily flawed idea but how's that sound?

This sounds very promising for CITW, even with the typo!
Well, looks like we will have to wait two days for the next reveal. My Bloody Valentine, which was on the list a minute ago has been taken off and will be revealed tomorrow (I guess).

It's interesting that there are still four more reveals left and only three more attractions which are already confirmed.
Will this be another attraction or just "live actors around the park?"

It's confimed that My Bloody Valentine will be located in the arena (E10 containers). If done well this could be very scary!

That is exactly what I thought today. Considering it is less than a month til when they throw open the rusty gates I thought they would have been ready a long time ago.
I am also worried there is not even a small hint of on-park theming yet. It has already been spotted at Alton & Chessie :-/

Doesn't is seem like they are cutting it a bit fine? If the attractions are being gutted at the moment then they don't actually have very long to setup the new attractions.
It seems a shame for them to be gutting E10, a lot of thought went into that and it only lasted for two seasons.

One thing I find very annoying about the MAP system, is they seem to randomise who they send their emails, start of year pamphlet, and general information. Some people receive one thing, whilst some people don't receive anything!

They aren't irrelevant - they clearly explain (in a fun way) what the marmaliser is actually supposed to do, which could otherwise be lost on people.
Also, you can't argue with a few interesting facts about the ride on display. They are proud of their new ride, and want to make it look better. No harm in that.

We don't actually know that The Blair Witch Project will be located there - once again we are relying on information from ScareTOUR.

I have been going into chat lately and staying in there waiting for people to arrive and a handful come and say hi.
However it is nowhere near busy to continue the chat for a long period so this suggestion I agree with for an organised time.

Asylum's crying out for a Texas Chainsaw Massacre theme, it would be the perfect fit, especially with Leatherface chasing you out at the end with a chainsaw.

It depends what you want in a ride - some people just want to ride them without caring at all about the theming whereas other people (like me) like a little bit of background information displayed to add to the enjoyment of the ride/queuing experience.
Personally I like these signs, they aren't doing any harm and those who want to read them can do so.
