What on earth are they thinking?! It looks so out of place there, but would look completely natural next to fish, or tidal, or rumba, or pretty much anywhere else really. Are we supposed to see the word timber in the name and suddenly think it's a good match for the area, despite what our eyes tell us? With that wagon sitting there it's a nice bit of contrast where previously something as small as place to sit was worth theming well, to today where it's fine not to bother with theming on a whole ride. Well done everyone.

Unfortunately I thought the first one was pretty terrible, not what you expect from the series proper opener (the xmas special was brilliant though), but I the second one was much much better. That's the great thing about it; if one is not for you it doesn't really matter as the next one will be completely different. If you can find the first series that was the strongest, especially A Quite Night In and The Understudy. My other new favorite thing is Gap Year hidden away on E4 for some reason. Took a little bit to get going but is well worth it when it picks up. Tim Key love.

Thorpe/Merlin have opened rides on inappropriate one train operation on and off peak for a variety of reasons and have been rightly derided for it. Blackpool have done the same here and are being rightly derided for it. There's not much more to it really, and if you don't agree that this is not how a park should be operating then you are probably wrong. But really I just wanted to make the 1000th post in the topic. Great clip. Staff paid £2.20 ph, entrance £8.25! How times change! And if their prices had risen with inflation the entrance price should now be just over £20, not £50 Strange seeing buccaneer with no Vampire behind it.

I'm lost for words about how soft the world is. It might be a 'family orientated' attraction to an extent, but these are real things from history and are themes covered in the dungeons. We going to pretend it didn't exist now because it's not all fluffy?

I don't think the camp can, but the hotel facilities are free for all to use. And you should, they are great!

My biggest tip for making the most would be to download the park app and use the live queue times to avoid the long waits. I found the queues varied hugely and seemingly at random through the day from area to area, and the posted queue times were incredibly accurate. Even on the very busy days I went the major coasters dropped to near walk on occasionally.

I wonder if the work they are doing to Buccaneer will stop the 'necessity' to have the stupid adult on the edge seats rule?

ASA wouldn't give a crap about departments if the company knows. The company has responsibility for its internal communication. We'll have to wait and see what happens, but another delay would be embarrassing and another attraction falsely advertised as suggested would be unforgivable. Again.

It appears from this image that the seat she was in is the empty one on the row behind, which looks like the restraint is still down with that yellow belt in place. Suggests she may have slip out of the middle of the restraint rather than it having opened. The gap between each shoulder does look quite wide to me.

I couldn't really justify the hotel cost when compared to the guesthouses which are so convenient and cheap, did love what I saw of them though. The bars and restaurants that we tried in the hotels were all lovely, I certainly will consider them when I return if I'm feeling flush, but as I seemed to be able to use all the facilities as an outsider I'd happily go back on the cheap again!

For the record, I've not said the election of trump is a good thing, or that he is not a horrific human being. Quite the opposite. But you didn't quote those bits. I also haven't said that people shouldn't protest, or that protesting is wrong, just that in these circumstances it's more than a little odd and doesn't really seem to have a tangible end goal. It is admittedly pretty hilarious that it riles him so.

I can't think of an election of recent times that hasn't been won off the back of lies! I don't really think you can look at any mainstream party on either side if the Atlantic as having any moral high ground in that respect! As I said, you've got two awful people running for office. One tries to hide their awfulness and does their dirty deeds in an underhand, hidden, standard political spin kind of way. The other pretty much brazenly stands there being openly awful. Who is actually worse? Who should you trust more? It's hard to be surprised by a fool with no self censorship. I don't have a 'problem' with protest, but just find this one very odd and pretty pointless.

Not really the same, is it? When people had to protest for those rights it wasn't because a party that were pro had lost an election, it was because there was no one pro in the running, or that there couldn't be anyone in the runnung because their particular rights were suppressed by law in the first place; it wasn't allowed to be pro their cause. This is protest that 'a man won by the legal process and we don't like that man', we'll that actually is too bad! Until he tries to implement something which encroaches on the rights of US citizens, or has a significant impact on another nation, what is actually being protested against? The course of democracy? It's really a very odd thing. The real issue is the opposition having fielded a damp lettuce as a candidate. I'm pretty sure Trump would have lost against anyone who was half decent and could have capitalised on his many many weaknesses.

An odd one when what is being fought against is the very result of that democracy. I'm a million miles from a Trump fan, the blokes an absolute tool, but some aspects of all this I don't think are entirely negative. What do you think our, or any government, are doing when they make any deal with another nation? This is just honesty that we don't usually get to see, and I thinks it's that honesty the Americans have gone for. He says what he really thinks, even if what he thinks is entirely mental. Even if that honesty shows a repulsive human that might well be better than being lied to by someone else.

Good to see what's going on. Hopefully they're not collecting up that rubbish from under the station of Nash station just to put it with all the other rubbish under the rest of Nash. That ride was in a terrible state this year; the horrible condition of the ride itself (which needs a re-tracking and repainting sooo desperately) is bad enough, but that they've stored decades worth of crap under it is dreadful. Beyond the shiny station it really looked completely unloved in a park that I thought was otherwise very well presented.
