  1. I mentioned this to some colleagues last night who I would broadly describe as 'normal'. They hadn't heard about it previously and were pretty much only positive about it, they really want to give it a go. Overall I suppose it is a bit like a cross between a themed fun house, something I always love, and an effect rather than actor reliant maze, something quite a few people here have wanted. Although I don't care much for the program the work we've on the theming seen so far looks pretty high quality and if they manage to get some of the trial set ups realistically recreated I can see how that could work well. I think the hardest thing will be pitching it so it gives enough of a 'scare' to the older people without being too much for the families, and whatever tricks or effects they use are good enough to get people laughing along with the experience rather than at it. Overall though, who doesn't want a go in front of a massive fan? http://youtu.be/FIRFAOIXUPA?t=9m42s Side note, if you don't know Toast of London you are missing out on a lot!
  2. I want a muffin the mule meet and greet. I've never even heard of jungle run. What sort of nonsense is this conversation? Just name a programme with trees in it? Spring Watch: The Experience then please.
  3. Unless that park is Paultons! WORLD'S FIRST PARK WITH TWO SETS OF DODGEMS! ! 1! Not been PH since Woodie Bear was wandering the place, so don't know if this makes sense, but the park on facebook have stated the other ones are 'kiddie' ones which are staying alongside these 'adult' ones. Which is fair enough.
  4. It was inevitable, it had to happen, the phrase reared its ugly head... WORLDS FIRST JUNGLE MAZE I mean, really? Well done, marketing people. Someone phone Norris McWherter, I'm sure he'll want this entertainment milestone in the book.
  5. Had never even head of this, looks interesting. Can't see me finding myself in Poland anytime soon though!
  6. USA - Facial injuries to female thrown from a Music Express, apparently after her restraint opened while the ride was in motion. A rare Mack Rides incident!
  7. So would I, cant stand the show! Can see how it could work for a bit of audience participation fun in a theme park though.
  8. Agreed, IACGMOOH seems likely with the clues. Something like a small scale Fear Factor they used to have at Universal. If correct it will see some amazing Thorpe logic; in the same year remove arena and for the first time in forever have a show that would suit it. Brilliant.
  9. Yeah, I don't know how many times parks in general have to stretch the worlds/continent/coutrys first/only/record lines beyond any kind of reality before we stop believing the press release puff? I'm not saying there's any reason this won't be great, but nothing significant can be read into the scant details we have so far.
  10. Looks to me like a close up of something like an old park map, which I presume would point to the location. But I can't place it. Oh, and if this was a new ride I'm sure they'd be calling it their new ride. I expect this to be low level in the extreme. Happy to be wrong though!
  11. Something to do with snakebite? New attraction for 2015 - the bar 360 menu.

Jordan, the links will not work as they are 'm.youtube' mobile links, you need to use the full site instead!
  13. Well in that case it must be GYPB waltzer?!
  14. Looks like a Waltzer to me. If you're after a specific I have no idea, so I'll just go for the last one I rode, wich waa Mannings.
  15. Fabulous. Hope this is a massive success, that might just wake the industry up to wood over here too.

Are you certain your house is not on fire?! There are other things you should be doing if it is!
  17. Gotta pay those H&Se fines somehow I guess. There needs to be some sort of organised revolt against fastrack at some point, beyond the geek community. It's a truly destructive force.
  18. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2939916/Lego-signs-multi-million-pound-deal-BBC-create-Dr-set-complete-Tardis-Daleks-Cybermen-hit-shelves-time-Christmas.html How about that then? Multi level Merlin cross branding; 'Dr Who, the Lego Ride'?
  19. For me it would be Time Voyagers; that was the destruction of something great for something poor, whereas the others were the loss of pretty much nothing for something poor.
