  1. Universal Orlando just sounds an amazing place to visit with the likes of Potter, The Mummy & Transformers. Really do want to visit here one day as the park just looks amazing.
  2. It's definitely a nominee, alongside That Kung Fu Panda name thing Garda are getting. That being said, quite of their ride's names aren't brilliant with the likes of Green Scream & Kiddi Costa existing.
  3. Interesting looking ride. Whilst it's good the park is gaining a second dark ride, I will miss the gold mine a lot though so this ride has a lot to make up for.
  4. Logger's is planned to be reopened in 2017 hopefully. Whether that will actually happen is not 100%.Only did Flumey once, and though it was nothing amazing, I recall memories of singing It's A Small World with the Tpmers I rode with. Hopefully Towers will get a new flume next year. One along the lines of Chiapas would be nice.
  5. The height of this coaster looks mightily impressive in the Salou surroundings. Especially with the loverly main park peaking out in the distance. Apart from that, can't say it's the most inspiring coaster out there. Sure it'll beat Baco though.
  6. It has now been confirmed that Flume has indeed retired after 35 years at the park. Sources Ride Rater & Towers Street. Whilst it was never an amazing flume, it's a shame the park have lost a notable family attraction especially since parks out there are still operating their flumes which are over 40 years.
  7. Great to see Galactica's opening earlier. At the end of the day it's Air mk2 so the ride system (bar the VR) will be exactly the same. I'm hoping the pushed date is as a result of being ahead of schedule rather a rushed theming job. Edit- actually I'm starting to reckon the reason they've pushed Galactica's opening forward may be due to the recent ongoing case with the Smiler which may as a result still be closed at the start of this season somewhat.
  8. Well, at least it's better than Zufari.
  9. Just don't do what I did on my first time,Drink, drink, drink, drink, drink, drink. Get wasted, just about walk out the club and pass out on the couch.
  10. I'm very excited for Star Wars land as it looks mightily impressive and looks to be the Disney equivalent of TWWOHP. Shame that the state parks are receiving cutbacks in places due to Shanghai [and to a lesser extent DLP] consuming resoucres for their projects and problems. Hopefully they will find a way to resume normal operations soon, especially with the major competition they're facing from the likes of Universal. Not to mention, visitor numbers at the parks [WDW especially] are continuing to pile up, where MK may well break 20M in gate figures now. In terms of when new attractions, the initial plans are: 2016 Frozen ride, Soarin 2.0, Rivers of Light & Kilmanjaro [as Adam mentioned earlier] Avatar Land 2017/2018 Toy Story Land 2018/2019 Star Wars Land 2019/2020 [I've heard DLR's is set for a 2019 opening and will be built before the WDW one]
  11. Went there many years ago with a few school clubs or something. Remember they had a snake heater Skelter like the one in Southend, a train and a carousel which played some upbeat music too. They had quite a big zoo too from what I remember.
  12. I'm not judging until it's finished. I'm glad they are theming it though. I'll have some ketchup and Mayonaise please.
  13. All the Creeky things seem to be disappearing at the moment.
  14. Probably do a maze on the Transylvania path again hopefully. Would be great to see HITH come back [or something just as good]. Trick Or Treat Wood isn't really a loss [ if it does not return] as I found the walkthrough very weak when I visited the event last year.

People forget how underestimated the oboe is, it gets frequent solos, has appeared through baroque to modern film music and most importantly. The oboe tunes the orchestra. Next week, the TPM philharmonic, there will be a run through of, Baron 1898 theme Bubbleworks Phantom Manor medley ;)
  18. The ride will be called Aerospin, which is a bit like Skyforce at BPB but will be located on a raising tower instead of a rotating axis. Full details are here http://www.mynewsdesk.com/se/liseberg/pressreleases/this-year-s-new-attraction-at-liseberg-test-your-wings-on-aerospin-1320931?utm_campaign=mm_email_notification&utm_medium=email&utm_source=sendgrid They're also opening a new carousel, restaurant and a new garden on some disused park area too. Apparently the park have ripped out the old wheel and two S&S towers too.
  19. I don't post all the time. But when I do people normally suspect high quality posts, that contribute towards topics and aren't pointless.
  20. OMG, better put another 'I want to ride this but probably won't ride this for a while' comment.
  21. Not at all surprising in all honesty. There goes my summer trips to Thorpe.
  22. The unfortunate thing is, the location of most of our parks prevents them having a super [Disneysque] style motorway or traffic road, which is purely there just to specfically cater for theme park goers. Instead we've pretty much got single carriage roads towards all the parks. Towers is based through long windy countryside roads, aproximately over 10 miles from any main road. For newbies, they could almost argue whether the Uk's 'supposed' biggest theme park is located there. Legoland suffers from being in the middle of a residential area, natural area and also being close distance to Ascot and Windsor castle too. If the park could receive similar lane infastructure to their park drive [2 lanes each way], the road would flow significantly better. Chessington is positioned slapbang in the middle between the motorway and another large residential area and like the other two above, road expansion doesn't look much of an option, unless all those pubs, houses and businesses decided to sell up. Thorpe has the lesser problems here, with it using slightly better infrastructure on the roads, but there is still room for improvement and from time to time, traffic still builds up.
  23. Glad they went original high quality additions, I love consistency. Got to keep things up to date.
