  1. B&M's are the best!

  2. 3 is correct Kiniard. 1/ Aladdin is officially my favourite Disney film (followed by the Lion King) 2/ Samurai is my least favourite flat ride at Thorpe. Love Rush,Slammer and Detty p,us enjoy quantum and find vortex ok, but I'm just not the buggest Samurai fan. I just find it too intense at times (plus the fact I nearly vommed on. first ride after eating loads of chocolate and cocacola). 3/ I never visited Fantasy Island (sadly), however I did visit Skegness in 96 (I think) and visited the nearby Bottons. Btw, next time , Paige has the right to take my go
  3. Ok, Shotgun 1/ my favourite Disney film is Aladdin 2/ Samurai is my least favourite thrill ride at Thorpe 3/ I visited fantasy island when I was a child
  4. Exciting news, can't wait until this beast is up and running. Yay for another B&M
  5. Sort of in order- 1- The Swarm- dat drop 2- Nemesis Inferno- dat mist and force 3- Stealth- that top hat 4- Rush- best flat on park 5- X- nightclub the ride 6- Colossus- Thorpe's a Corkscrew but better 7- Slammer- one of a kind 8- The Smiler, I mean Saw 9- Detonator- intense drop 10- Quantum - great fun thrill ride List could go on, but flying fish doesn't do anything without its head choppers, tidal wave is too wet for me so rarely do it, loggers just isn't the same the tunnel got chopped and Rumba, it's just there.
  6. Worst visitors at Thorpe for me, Queue line smokers- makes the air stench around the ride unpleasant not to mention rides another park fire (2 were enough). Queue line jumpers, everytime I see them pass through it just frustrates me so much and I'm tempted to do a Jay from the Inbetweeners too much (see the episode they go to London). Guests with poorly controlled kids- makes a line sometimes feel twice as long Chavs- that think they're better than everyone else and try to set a scene whilst at the park Splitters- gives me a bitter taste everytime I see one
  7. 5/10 Hints the members appearance but doesn't completely give it away

    Legoland

Sounds as though Legoland is just as screwed as Chessington at the moment (if not more), strict council, opposing locals, difficult getting planning permission and that isn't a lot of space left for development and expansion, not to mention most of the park is made from Legoland staples. Judging from situations, the only uk Merlin park which seems to get most things granted and appear to have good relations with the local council is Thorpe. I just wish Moorlands, Kingston & Windsor councils would just wake up and see the parks as major tourist pulling attractions which benefit the local economy.
  9. As far as I'm aware, the only additions Aspro added to the park have been Neverland and whatever was added this year, the restaurant, teacups, arcade etc. I just hope the park will receive some decent investment next year and they reconsider their operations, especially this new fastrack system they've brought.
  10. Well I would certainly prefer not to share my room with those members that some what do

    Legoland

I think it's strongly disappointing this attraction has been refused planning permission. Whilst Legoland is certainly plagued by many traffic problems during its operations (probably worst affected traffic wise of the Merlin parks), I think it's a great shame the council have rejected the plans for this new attraction which is escential hour the park to progress and still obtain visitor figures as one of the uk's most visited attractions. There are several ways the park and council can resolve traffic issues, these are. 1/ strongly encourage deter strive routes which are plenty 2/ add traffic controls 3/ add longer opening hours It greatly worries me that if this development never happens, Legoland will be in certain doom for future development and expansion very near or on the degree of Chessington's with a bleak future ahead, merely involving rethemes and playgrounds as new investments.
  12. That was very generous of a Blackpool. Any news on the project so far, as hopefully everything's going to plan ready for its reopening.
