  1. Sounds a very exciting project for me and can only be good news for the park who have now overtaken Walt Disney Studios as the 2nd most visited park in Europe.
  2. If that queue gets any longer, it'll be quicker for me to fly to Orlando rather than queue for a ride on the Gringotts coaster.
  3. Hmmm, I wonder how more intense this ride will be in 10 years?
  4. The theme to me is still oblivion (logo and ride type) meets Inferno (theme and location). The only thing so far that makes me happy of this new ride is its a B&M as everything so far has been recycled from other concepts (as mentioned). Still I'm sure it'll be far better than Sequiola adventure and that SLC they have.
  5. Went to Thorpe again today and Stealth was closed all day with no signs of life at any time. Staff members round the ride's area said it would be down all day. Wonder what's up with Stealthy now, considering I rode it twice on MOS where operations and the experience both seemed very good. Wonder what's happened between MOS and this morning to name this ride break?
  6. Another fantastic meet, really enjoyed seeing everyone again, going on all the rides, MOS club and coaster night rides, which at least on the club aspect was an improvement from last years (didn't hear firework played once). I hope it's not too long before I make another meet (as I can't do summer nights and aren't sure about Blackpool ATM).

    Legoland

Compared to what I saw when I went there a few months ago, it does look like they've made some improvements to the area. Castaway Camp looks a pretty decent kids area and update to the ageing Rat Trap that used to exist for many years (although I'll always remember it for my childhood). Joke telling pirate is a great touch in my view. Adds some humour and interaction to the area. Pirate Burger Kitchen theming additions are quite an improvement to the big shed it was when I visited (least it's actually pirate themed now (but I still prefer Crossed Ribs)). Still, it's a shame the pirate band weren't working, the old falls had better theming and storyline and the other burger kitchen at the park looks hideous.
  8. These new queue boards are a great improvement to what they had before. High tech and classy at the same time.
  9. Don't think I'll be able to make this one as I'm pretty sure I'm still away, but have great time guys!

TBH, Rita is such a good ride, it makes even a train 4 ride on the Smiler look like Nemesis
  13. The problem with Chessington's car parks is that the north car park near Fury is located on green belt land and apparently there's only so much they're allowed to do when it comes to maintaining it there, even filling in potholes and the like. I strongly doubt we'll see major expansions at Chessington due to the reasons above and with issues such as strict council regulations, the (apparent) land slidng and that when vampire can't operate anymore Chessington looks to be (in quite a few ways) doomed for the near future in regards to expanding and progressing (unless they can find more land nearby or rules of planning are relaxed). Whilst Legoland have a similar problem in regards to shortage of land, at least they're building restrictions are slightly better.

    Legoland

Tbh for a ride that's in its 16th year, it doesn't look too bad, although could still do with some TLC. If I'm honest I do think Legoland's upkeep has gone down hill a little recently, with effects such as the dragon breathing not working and the head in a downwards position too (which detracts the ride for me). Also Fairytale Brook has a noticeable number of broken effects which have been there since the end of last season (which for a recently refurbished ride is very disappointing) on top of the fading city models and removed features on the city train as well. Whilst Pirate falls looks nice and fresh, I wasn't really impressed by the new storyline or the whole area retheme

SW8 will be coming to towers for 2017 as I'm aware. From what I've heard it'll be very exciting (sounds better than Smiler) and there are two locations currently planned, one which will see us saying goodbye to a ride or two.

    Nemesis

Well had my first rides on Nemy again this weekend after nearly a year and can certainly say, the rides fantastic, the way it flus through twists, turns and corners gaining speed and power through the amazing landscape too whilst still being very smooth 20 years later, Whilsts it's a shame the blood waterfall won't be returning for the foreseeable future, it's easily the best uk ride and I love it and could easily spend all day riding it.
  22. Towers meet was awesome, had a great time and perhaps my favourite meet so far. Rides were excellent, Cbeebs land looked great. Thirteen, Air and Blivvy were great fun and Nemesis is certainly my favourite coaster and was amazing. It wipes the floor with inferno (sorry jack).
