10/10. Great drawing and the moon fits perfectly on the circular outline for the avatar!
-
It'll be just my lousy luck if that's the actual opening date. That's 4 days after I leave!

Been considering investing in a turntable for ages (guess there's no point if I now possess a decent boombox ). How much are they these days?

So I'm hitting Orlando on Sunday for a fortnight (back in the UK on the 18th). I shall blog my adventures when I return.

Soundtrack for Taron has also been confirmed to have been done by IMAscore.

PortAventura 2017 certainly sounds promising.

The fact that this has been delayed by a lot of time does make me agree with the fact that perfection can't ever be rushed...hence why Baron 1898 didn't open until July last year.

I just find it disappointing that the guns themselves have no sound. Though I do like the fact there's a permanent red dot in your line of range to indicate your aim. But all in all pretty much the most decent part of the whole revamp was just the extra UV paint on the sets. Looks a lot nicer nowadays. Just a shame to now hear most of the effects have given up the ghost already...

Derren Brown's Ministry of Sound Meet 23rd July 2016

Update: Seeing the Shark hotel is now sold out, I'll be joining those heading to T5 afterwards. -
It seems that as of today, Gorillaz have started reuploading to their YouTube channel the official videos to a few of their tracks. Some of them definitely sound remastered or enhanced in some way. Even the videos are now in HD! All I've seen so far is 19-2000, Clint Eastwood and Feel Good Inc. Might be a strange thing to say that this means we're getting closer to Phase 4...but hey for now it's close enough a jazz...

Actually fuming following England's embarrassing defeat to Iceland. I mean good for Iceland and all - a team of 11 underdogs overcoming a team of 11 professionals...but still, it's impossible to not say this was our most humiliating performance! Seriously. What was Hodgson thinking, bringing Vardy on in the 60th minute...and Rashford with 4 minutes remaining???

I always forget to shake J2Os before opening them.

From what I remember this was put over the tent placed out the front where guests view the preshow?

I nowadays personally find it absolutely disgusting when people call one another "gay" or "homo" as a joke or an insult. I heard one of these words come from a kid in his early teens (no surprises there) directed at his friend while I was en route home. Honestly, it's as if people like him are so ignorant that they either didn't know about the events in Orlando...or most likely they didn't CARE. It really feels as if people like this guy are mocking the sexuality of the 49 innocent people who were killed on that night. I have never been homophobic by any means, but the events in Orlando really have inspired me to turn my back on homophobia completely and stand with those who are proud of their sexuality. It is NOT something from which to suffer constant abuse, which I'm sure everyone would agree that this was one of the most sickening parts of the whole massacre; the fact that the killer was a homophobic monster who relentlessly took the lives of 49 people just over a different sexuality.

I forgot about Kane didn't I? But yeah poor performance in places but a great finish! Safe to say I was watching the match at college today...and as expected from a class of around 20 boys we all went mental when Sturridge snuck it home.
-
So...England v Wales. Not only does Hodgson make a bloody great move by replacing Sterling with Vardy and Sturridge for the second half...but they both happen to be the players to lead us to a dramatic victory that takes us to the top of the group!!! Absolutely smashing performance!

Over the moon Most of you may have seen the rant I made exactly one week ago about the struggle through college towards my future. Well today finally brought two solutions: 1. On my point of me supposedly being plonked on the wrong course rather than one that'll actually help me get where I want to be, some light has finally been cast. This CAD course I wanted - turns out they do evening classes for that as well for a part-time course...and to think I can do both that and have a full-time job in IT really did throw me for a loop! Never has £450 seemed like such a good deal! Looks like I'll be getting the experience I want after all. 2. With regards to that assignment involving a CPU simulator, that is now done and out of the way...for now. But what's important is that I at least understand it a lot more. All is well, people! You can sit on down now...

Fallout logic. (maybe not a dank meme but a meme's a meme)

I absolutely love what IMAscore did for Toverland with De Magische Vallei. Never been to Toverland, but those who have would definitely agree that this area, along with D'wervelwind and Djengu River, really are brought to life with their soundtrack - D'wervelwind for the sounds of the wind around you and Djengu for it's immense power...and for the record, D'wervelwind's onboard audio is the reason I think more innovative coasters need onboard audio. But all in all it really is a perfect example of just what music can do to a themed land.
