planenut got a reaction from StealthRider in Stealth
As others have mentioned, the area available governs the distance of the launch track, and therefore the achievable height off that launch, relatively speaking.

The weather was great today; met up with some of the TPM members by chance.
As with everything, loads of new staff being shown the ropes; several of the rides experiencing teething problems.
A bit odd, that most of the aforementioned changes/improvements still either not existing or being worked on.
Many of the previous tatty bits still remaining.
I had forgotten that I don't normally go on a Saturday so I was surprised by the amount of youngsters there, doh!

Hi Han, odd thing for most people is I don't count, and it is dependent on the team on the ride; it is a lot and I have a figure I use for last year. (interesting figures when the vertical distance is multiplied) New team this season, so have to do some work. (nuts I know)

This is good news, more people in the shop - less people in the queue!

The Wild Mouse at BPB is brilliant, never mind it's history, it's such a clever design; short wheel base makes the corners spin further than the chassis and pushes one physically through extreme turns.

I was in TP today intending to make it really casual - once inside the park staff were holding guests at barriers just the other side of the dome. the illuminated signs stated that Stealth was closed so decided to try Colossus, but got round there and that had not opened, moved round to Saw, where we were held at the gate for another five minutes.
Rode Saw twice and it certainly is a lot smoother. then went to Colossus and rode that twice.
Then ventured round the Stealth which was just opening and went on to make full use of that.
At times after 4p.m., no queue for Stealth but each boat on Tidal Wave was full, odd how we make our choices.
I could see that SWARM was virtually walk-on all afternoon.

Great ride count - at least you had time to take in the view from Detonator.

Why don't teachers ever strike during the school holidays?

Hopefully avoiding any misinterpretations of my comment, I will only say.......
"There are currently no Planning Applications submitted for Drayton Manor save for a Garden Room extension to the hotel."

Shhh!
Thorpe Park thank you for a reasonable explanation, but you can trust me, if I say the queue is a couple of hours long, it is, no need to check, just publish, cheers.

I used to think I had loads of friends, but gradually realized most were "colleagues". I am a little older than most on this forum, and have few true friends, but they are the ones that will always be with you.
Don't look for friends, just be there for the exchanges that others need, the friendship will develop.
Assess the negative comments and those that annoy you, work out if there's any relevance. Life has a big rubbish bin beside it, where you put the useless negatives, once in, forget it.
Don't waste brain cells in regretting or worrying about things that you cannot change and that are past, file them but sift the good bits that you can benefit from, then look in the mirror and see who matters.
