Yep. It was either this or wooden warrior, both astoundingly great rides, however boulderdash seems to be longer and have more of a flare. -
Angry Bird's Ministry of Sound Thorpe Park Meet 5th July 2014

I shall do so, and the Popcorn (if I have the money) can be on me (Only if SCB gives me a lift to the station after ) -
Whatever happened to the across valley double lift hill intamin woodie Alton had planning permission to get? eyyyy?

Yeah Thing is, Chessington, a bit like thorpe, don't have bundles of land to play with. I think it's likely they'll get another water ride like rapids (though they have bubble works, its very toddler based) or a small coaster, but not any time soon. For some reason (I have no idea why) 2019 rings a bell in my head. Probably means nothing though

Maybe this should become a general topic for people to post their youtube channels? Nice vid James! The screaming was hilarious :3

Looking forward to riding it in a month! Will hopefully get some good videos. -

HOW ARE YOU UP AT 5AM?!?!!?

Exactly. The only form of abuse I have witnessed is groups of people going into single rider queues and getting seated together, or causing a fuss. (On the smiler last year a couple were infront of me and kicked up a fuss about not riding together so in the next train they got seats next to eachother when there was a pair waiting in the normal queue... tutt tutt.) Single riders would be great to get back, and maybe even do an alton towers and merge some of the fast track queues with single rider queues. It'll also be good because then if the fasttrack and single rider queues are merged/close together they'll still only need one attendant to op the system.

I was there yesterday too! Yes, the staff were very good on stealth, which was really useful as I was able to get 3 more major rides done between 4:30 and 5:00. They handled the fastpass queue well, and were patient with those with disabilities, aswell as being efficient in loading the ride, and filling pretty much all empty spaces. The queue said 50 minutes on it, and we were going through full extension past the 45 minute sign, but it couldn't have took more then 30 minutes.

Hm, I've visited both vampire and x in the last week, both with school kids, and loading on vampire was still a lot quicker with a better throughput. Tbh I didn't realise it could be so busy midweek, as it goes smoothly on teacher training days, but oh well.. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk

For any further info just PM him. Maybe because I'm small and young and annoying I found it hard, but it can be quite a challenge to handle large numbers! BTW went today. Just a casual trip with a mate, but look at the size of Rush's '5 Minute' queue. Just a little shout out to FrightNights04 for joining me in the afternoon! Really made my day bud.

As far as I'm aware, atleast within the last month they've only had one person on the bags. There are plenty of places to put bags, and if they don't have bands they just ask you to memorize a number. The fact is, quite simply, one is not enough. You need multiple people to op the bag system, because they have to juggle between collecting bags and redistributing them, which can leave lots of customers annoyed, getting pushed in front of, getting longer queues, and just reducing the efficiency all together of the ride. As said if they had one returning bags and one collecting them, I think it would be alot more efficient. It's hardly a small space too.

Me and FrightNights04 rode it as our final ride today and it was JOKES. Been a while since I last rode it and first time I've faced the wave without ducking into a little ball. Yep it's up and running alright. (On the way home I took the train, and the person who took my seat after me gave me evils for leaving a puddle :3)

Please, Benin, know my pain. The queue for X today was 40 god darn minutes. Not because the ops were inefficient, but school trips absoultely killed the through put with luggage. I went on a train with just me and my friend in the end. Whilst I agree swarms baggage system is messy and can be annoying to have people push infront, at least the people inside it can work efficiently and effectively in a team. X's throughput today must've scraped 100 an hour. Honestly it was terrible and really need sorting out, NOW.
-
People say 'Oh yeah they don't under staff they just work with minimums'. If that's not efficient isn't that basically understaffing? As people have already said the system was'ne good on Sunday. I ended up being the bag guy for the group (all 11 of us) and stood there whilst 2 trains dispatched, waiting for a girl who looked like she'd have a heart attack from the sheer amount of baggage to put them in boxes and give me bands. The train I finally went on had just 5 people on it. I think 2 people are needed at least, no matter which area the bags are being taken in to, especially around this time of year. One to collect wrist bands and unload, and one to do the opposite. Alot better then one person running round like a headless chicken. Because its the final term for schools plenty of school trips will be coming along now too, meaning big groups, meaning big groups of bags. I just hope they sort it out or the throughput will be lower then slammer.
