I somehow have! Also, Zach emailed Paultons and the response basically said it's due for the first or second weekend, but apparently they can be redeemed for any time after May so maybe somethings changed there?

What I gathered from the email that it is some sort of preview/promo event in which there's due to be pictures or something. The email was quite vague and apparently we won't learn more until nearer the time, very ambiguous!

As someone who's never been to Towers, Air has always been the one ride I've really had the interest in ever since I was young(er) and before I'd even been to Thorpe Park, Rage might not even have been a thing by that point, so it's hardly as though I was bored of other 'thrilling' coasters, as I potentially hadn't even been on one yet! The thought of my first experience on Air being one laden with a gimmick makes me all kinds of sad as Air got all the hype from me before I even acknowledged Nemesis' existence.

I'll likely try to give it a go, shall depend on if I'm working and whether I think my back and I could handle it (which at this rate is no)

Jamie even you yourself assumed that Loggers was leaving altogether due to those 'firm' or 'heavy' rumours so I'm not sure what you're trying to get at there?! ~~~ I suppose that linking it all together, log flumes could be high risk in that people standup a lot etc. But I'm sure it's something totally different as this seems to be a systematic set of closures if you like and people have said things about it being with Mack more than anything (I don't know much about that, I'm just putting two and two together and getting seven most likely). I don't think they'd close several rides of the same type by the same manufacturer for no 'valid' reason to be honest

Is it common to have people standing up on any of the flumes?

It isn't better than Stealth though

Thorpe Park: 4 Chessington: 1 (didn't even get to see the meerkats) Adventure Island: only once with a wristband, an evening in the summer with family (was clearly too cool to ride anything) and the lovely day in September with Edam. So make of that what you wish Oakwood: 1 total (like it's that relevant): 7, or 8 and a bit if you're being hungry for the park count I've had a busy year and parks have been and still are the last thing on my mind. I'm glad I got to experience one new park at least though /keen ptat16
