I think that's my cue. It would be cool to do something around then I think, work dependent for many, of course!

I don't think he was calling you ignorant, but rather your comment. I also believe that Ian was saying thay you probably don't think that he knows there's more to life than being a 'narrow minded selfish git'. That's how I interpret them atleast, but I could see how it could be misconstrued.

The thing with all this is that, regardless of whether it's a physical or a mental condition, people would handle or respond to it differently. For instance, I've found myself on crutches a number of times and have generally struggled, whilst a few weeks ago a friend found herself on crutches and managed perfectly well. Now, we both were entitled to the same thing that the school will offer you, yet we utilised different things to fit our personal needs, despite us having what aome may regard as the same issue. My point is, such a thing shouldn't be determined by and based on whether it's physical or mental, but based on the individual and their needs.

If it is something which really makes queuing difficult for the person, it should be treated accordingly. That's what I feel, anyway.

Some of the audacity and impertinence I've heard from some people is disgusting! It's sad to see that some people can be so close-minded and petty with such a thing, really. Unsure if it's really been touched on, but one of the worst injured has returned to Twitter, saying he was 'overwhelmed' by everyone's support, he has decided to make his account private and I saw that a journalist had asked him for an interview, so I don't blame him for doing so at all, very wise. According to reports, he's got two broken legs; don't quote me on that, though.

Here's another couple tweets. Based on what I've heard from actual news sources, this is quite a lie. I find it quite... Disgusting that people are exploiting this in such a way but what can you do. EDIT: it's getting worse. This will not be good for the park at all.

Could the current weather have caused the car to stall, or to be at a greater risk of doing so? Apologies if I sound ignorant if it's obvious. This is actually quite shocking and I really hope everyone is as well as they can be. This can't be the park's fault yet I feel it will rest on their shoulders in the eyes of the GP. EDIT: Just seen Tommy's link, this is absolutely devastating, although I hope this is nothing more than a rumour of sorts. I don't recall anything so bad in the UK atleasy from my own memory.

Enough passion to nearly lose a noustache. Shame that your invisibility cloak seemed to be faulty though

Does a 45 minute queue really warrant the need of fastrack? Like, really warrant it? Sure, it might be a bit of an inconvenience, but I really cannot fathom anyone who would see such a queue advertised and think 'no way am I queueing for that long, I'm going to by fastrack'. Of course, some people really do hate waiting and this may have been a busy day, there could've been plenty of factor as to why someone would want to buy fastrack, but for someone to be pushing for it at the entrance of a '45 minute' queue seems silly in my eyes. I probably just showed a generically British love of queuing right there

^^ I did find it quite bemusing myself, especially as it is was the very first thing that we were told, as though they knew how much of a qualm it was for enthusiasts. I've no idea exactly how many engineers there are on park at a time, but I wouldn't have necessarily thought that would've been so much of an issue!

When I went on the Stealth bts with TT, we were told something along the lines of them having to 'prioritise' if you will. As in if they use both trains today, the engineers will have more work to do tomorrow morning and so they mightn't get the rides running on full capacity when it could potentially be needed more tomorrow than today. I don't know if that explanation made the greatest deal of sense but that is what I was told, do with that information what you wish.

I have been in a queue many times when someone has, er, reacted funnily with the forces, and I have never been evacuated from the queue. You just get told that you'll be delayed for however long. I would also imagine that something like the restraints being stubborn wouldn't warrant an entire queue/area to be evac'd unless it was a more major issue and they hadn't unlocked quickly. I've no real experience with rides though, I'm just basing this on my own experiences, so what would I know.
-
If it's hot, you could wait a considerable-ish amount of time for Tidal Wave. I remember waiting something like 45 minutes for it as a child! Other than that, the queues aren't really something to worry about, the place may seem to be heaving, but not everyone there is going on rides.

I honestly didn't realise how badly it was needed until it's happened, I just thought it could've done with a clean. It really looks great, though which surprised me slightly!

I actually went on IAC in April and I feel like the fact I haven't posted any sort of summary or review on it says a fair amount. I was pretty scared throughout but that is down to the fact that I'm a jumpy, claustrophobic person who is terrified of bugs. The actors/hosts really did put a lot into it for us and the theming really is something to admire, but after the hour long queue and the whole getting stuck on the slide thing, I came out with a bitter taste in my mouth. A bit like that time I queued for Storm Surge for 2 hours.

Thanks to all of you, I found that pretty useful. My annual pass runs out at the end of June anyway so it'll likely be towards the end of June, luckily.

I've a general query, when does the school trip period really begin? I was hoping to take advantage of finishing school early this year but I fear I may end up being worse off so if anyone knows of or could give me the general idea of when to not even bother that would be greatly appreciated.

I'm personally against the idea of capital punishment. Many think otherwise but I don't think it's the right way of going about it. If they're being killed for killing someone, then what should happen to the one who killed the murderer?

I found the exit poll somewhat... concerning.

This might not be a very valid comment as my school is pretty awful anyway, but I attend an academy and to be honest we don't get much at all resource-wise or anything. From a student's view, I would say that we are worse off than many of the schools in my area to be honest!

^ The one time it went off for me I was going backwards! I did notice the other week that the fire had definitely become more frequent than I'd noticed before, you really felt the heat from it, too. Even from the ORP desk!

As a matter of fact, it does. It is VERY easy to pick up on someone's character in a place like this, yours is that of a patronising bigot who must always have something to say and have the last word. So that means your post was a moan towards me, right? It must've of been aimed towards me in response to my post, many people refer to people without quotes so it's not an impossibility. Carrying on such a petty thing is just as immature and childish, yet it seems you do love a nice squabble. You could've simply ended it by politely saying that you didn't mean it in such a way yada yada yada; yet the fact that you've responded the way you have tells me that there was some malice intended in what you said.

I didn't clock that, I can't think much of why other than it perhaps being targeted at younger children or locals who would just pop in, or perhaps it only being an off-peak attraction, which I sense was mentioned. I'm only going to quote what you originally put. Given what you're like on the forums, Jamie, it was pretty evident that you meant it in such a way as to correct me, to show how much you know and how little I could possibly know. I would be shocked if you meant it in a nice 'by the way' manner. If you can't tell from something that's typed, how could I tell whether you didn't mean it in such a way? Enough of this now, you seem to enjoy blowing up things in such a way as to cause a stir. You could've simply said that it wasn't intended in such a way rather than getting quite het up over someone voicing their supposed misinterpretation.
