I know it's because it's pretty much attacking our hobby/interest and stuff, but even that's a very daft thing to even say...

The media have done far, FAR worse than jump on the back of Merlin over this stuff...

Not being able to wear glasses on rides is a slight myth! I always wear mine, not matter what. Then again I really struggle to see (like you said your mum has, can hardly make out shapes and colours) and would soon get a migraine if I took them off, but it is unlikely that they'd come flying off your face. I often get mine tightened before going to a theme park just in case. #paigetips (sorry for use of hashtag)

Sorry but I don't see how being quiet or 'boring' warrants someone to essentially pick on him though? I'm quite bland, silent, detached and unenthusiastic most of the time and noone has a go at me for it, it's just what I am.

Either way you should show some respect to your teacher and it shouldn't take him to shout at you when you step out of line, as I'm sure you'd complain if he did shout at you.

After the voting in of gay marriage by referendum in Ireland and the decision by the Supreme court in America yesterday, London Pride today has a lot of reasons to celebrate. The pictures of the White House, Niagra Falls and many others yesterday show how far the fight for gay equality has come.

I doubt it'll be open for a while.

I like how it just seemed like that 'controversy' was click bait to draw people in to bear witness to yet more scare mongering on behalf of the Daily Mail.

Whilst I haven't voted in the poll, purely because I have always been a bit iffy with seeing those slogans, yet I hadn't even realised that they were gender specific and wouldn't march around screaming about how disgusting this is yada yada yada, but I have always seen them and frowned internally if you will.

I may sound incredibly conservative and whatnot, but I don't think that it's something that will influence young people, and I think that essentially suggesting that should a female wear said top it would make them a more susceptible target (because that's how it works, right?) is incredibly ludicrous. Of course, it may cause comments to be made, which can be horrible and make an individual feel incredibly vulnerable, but as a young female myself, I've never been interested in their t-shirts as much, and if I ever have purchased a t-shirt from a Merlin park or any other place, I like it to show that I've been to said place, otherwise it's a waste of money I feel.

So even though I have always found it a bit of a bold move, I do not strictly condemn the parks for selling them, nor do I think that they should be torn off the shelves.

(Sorry if that was quite jumbled, I have never been the best at putting a point across concisely)

I didn't clock that, I can't think much of why other than it perhaps being targeted at younger children or locals who would just pop in, or perhaps it only being an off-peak attraction, which I sense was mentioned.

I'm only going to quote what you originally put. Given what you're like on the forums, Jamie, it was pretty evident that you meant it in such a way as to correct me, to show how much you know and how little I could possibly know. I would be shocked if you meant it in a nice 'by the way' manner.

If you can't tell from something that's typed, how could I tell whether you didn't mean it in such a way?

Enough of this now, you seem to enjoy blowing up things in such a way as to cause a stir. You could've simply said that it wasn't intended in such a way rather than getting quite het up over someone voicing their supposed misinterpretation.

Just to reiterate my point (which Tommy did as well) - I don't think people with severe ADHD should be denied a ride access pass.  Indeed, it is the case that people with severe ADHD will have other disorders as you so; coupling those together would likely be more than enough to warrant a ride access pass.  But there are people with mild ADHD who, if we're being honest, can probably cope with the concept of queueing.  However, if they can, they will push the system and get a ride access pass anyway.  There is a line that needs to be drawn, but of course, it is difficult to know where that line is (especially with mental illnesses).

I think the current system is fair enough.  The amount of evidence required isn't absurd, but it's not too lenient and it should be quiet difficult to 'beat' it.  The case above shows that anyone who tries to beat it will be dealt with accordingly.  Hopefully that case in particular led the park to be a bit more careful with reviewing evidence though.

The thing with all this is that, regardless of whether it's a physical or a mental condition, people would handle or respond to it differently. For instance, I've found myself on crutches a number of times and have generally struggled, whilst a few weeks ago a friend found herself on crutches and managed perfectly well. Now, we both were entitled to the same thing that the school will offer you, yet we utilised different things to fit our personal needs, despite us having what aome may regard as the same issue.
My point is, such a thing shouldn't be determined by and based on whether it's physical or mental, but based on the individual and their needs.

I don't think he was calling you ignorant, but rather your comment. I also believe that Ian was saying thay you probably don't think that he knows there's more to life than being a 'narrow minded selfish git'.
That's how I interpret them atleast, but I could see how it could be misconstrued.
