I will be going probably on Saturday 14th or Sunday 15th really looking forwood to it tbh. My view with this event is If it goes badly well done thorpe for trying to open in February half-term and if it goes well then a good well done for thorpe will be in order. No point in visiting with a negative mindset. If you expect it to be a miserable day then it probably will be (which by the look of things quite a lot of people are.)

This is an event there is a extra show that lasts 45 mins which we don't know how good or bad it is yet and it is opening outside of normal hours. fastrack has not been confirmed to be sold during the week either that is three things happening which do not normaly occur during regular park openings that are positive therefore however much you complain and whine this is a special event. Would you not call summer nights a special event? that has a reduced line-up and I hope most people would agree with me when I say it is a fantastic event! And justifiable of the £5 Fee.

Will be visiting I think everyone's jumping down merlin's throat for the sake of it. Don't judge before you've visited the event!

At the End of the video Ride Experiences may vary. What the heck? Is that a disclaimer that the fire and water may not work all this year?

Ok I have done it. Like toofpikk I left fright night mazes blank as I am too much of a wimp to go in them.

...but as long as there's a preshow section inside the building before embarking on the ride, we should be all good for a storyline. Tbh though all the merlin rides that had pre-shows either the pre-show was rubbish (Laser Raiders) or it got discontinued (ZUFARI) and I think this shows that pre-shows in merlin parks are terrible. They do not improve the ride. They become boring for repeat riders as they are always the same script every time.I would rather Thorpe built an excellent ride than concentrate on a pre-show that will either be terrible or become part of the que line like ZUFARI's has.

I have only ridden storm surge 2 times and both times I have enjoyed it.=-O Basically although I think it's ugly I enjoy riding it. Cue major rants to me now I have confessed.

Obviously I will be visiting CWOA on overdrive . Thorpe park as much as I can and Legoland maybe once or twice. Shall probably go to adventure island once and Alton towers is a must ,Saving up for a trip there so maybe after AS exams. Because my parents have booked a holiday to scotland a trip to m and d's theme park is now in the diary.Blackpool shall definitely be a must this year Because I'm going on holiday there in april with my family YES YES YES . (As you can tell I'm very excited) Probably have a trip to Brighton pier somewhere in there as well.

Just returned from Chessington's Winter's tail event. Ride count Hocus Pocus Hall-3 Bubbleworks-3 Carousel-3 Positives- The Park looks lovely for Christmas including that great Christmas tree. The Christmas gift show was OK nothing special but worth watching. Even if I'm not really it's target age range! Animals were very lively despite the cold and got some great views of them. (often I forget how good the zoo area is, as in the open season I spend so much time on the rides and never take a glance at the zoo.) With 3 rides, a long show and almost the entire zoo open there was a lot to do the first zoo day I have ever been to where I haven't run out of things to do by 1 pm Negatives- Would of liked maybe one or two more rides open but not the end of the world! So to sum up, a very good day at the wonderful Chessington. My last Chessington and indeed Merlin trip of 2014! Thanks for a great day Chessington.
