What's the best coaster for me to start on at Thorpe if I'm scared of G-Force, the drops (kinda) and slightly of inversions (considerably less scared of inversions)?

A fourth turned up just a couple of weeks ago.

Its not a Drop track or a dark ride section, it's obviously a washing machine element.

Tbh the only reason I'll miss it is because it's been a part of Chessington for so long it'll be wierd without it - nowadays I cant be asked to ride it most of the time. Maybe it's because I go alot more now - maybe it's because I do actual rides now (Vampy and Fury), but for now it's the actual definition of filler.

How can you judge it when what it's replacing hasn't even closed yet? We haven't a clue what the theme is even going to be, whether or not it will have an IP (even if it is likely), whether the ride system will be staying, etc... Merlin could create a magical immersive brilliant ride, and if they are using their own theme I have confidence that it will at least be up to scratch with the current Bubbleworks. They wouldn't remove Bubbleworks if they weren't confident what's going to replace it will be up to scratch.

Yup, Bubbleworks even operated without any of the animatronics working for like 6 years. On my train on Galactica yesterday (the second time round) there were like 2 people per row because of broken headsets. This should have been a trackless dark ride with pshycological elements round every corner.

Not really. There's 8 areas at Chessington including the zoo, only Land of the Dragons and Forbidden Kingdom are in a real state, in terms of rides, Dragon Falls, Bubbleworks, Toadies, Black Buccanneer and Vampire's station isn't half.

I'm talking about digging a pit for it.

I think I'm scared because I'm pretty sure I am more sensitive to that sort of thing. I found Thirteen's launch into the station almost intense today lol. I also found the long inverted section after the fly to lie on Galactica quite intense.

Thats a shame. A Dark Forest hole would be great! I could just imagine trying to avoid loads of trees and vines with a golf ball

I went on Galactica without VR twice today and loved it didn't have time to go on anything else unfortunately but we'll be going back to Alton Towers in September anyway and will probably end up going to Thorpe Park soon. Staff were great, one in particular who basically told me everything would be fine and it wouldn't be scary. Then when I got on the second time he laughed and said "I told you you'd love it!". I was bricking it at first before going into the flying position, I was basically screaming to get off lol. (EDIT) @Equoaster Does Galactica count lol? Didn't want to do Nemesis or Rita (too intense) and Smiler's vertical lift is what put me off.

I meant one where the riders are still in the flying position instead of on their backs.

Would a vertical loop be possible for a flyer? Potential for a world's first right there. Don't start lol, you'll give them ideas!

Same goes for flyer = Swarm, launch = stealth and any kind of suspended = Inferno really.

Oh I know why, I have a fear aswell, it just seems Merlin use it a bit... much compared to other companies.

Visited the waterpark before golf on Wednesday, it's very well themed and Master Blaster is great, especially when you spin around on the lift hill and end up going backwards! Ended up getting more spinning on Master Blaster than on Spinball Whizzer ! Just a tip if you don't already know, sit back on Master Blaster and lift your body off the floor because I lost quite a bit of skin off my back on the lift hills lol.

Well, this topics a bit old. Need some... Reviving... Anyway, how comes Towers got round to changing the Air logos and music to Galactica and updated the Katanga Canyon music but not the Air name, Rita and Ug Land holes?

Carnival of Screams, that weird like Easter event thing at Thorpe, Big Top, and now this. Why do Merlin love circuses so much?

Half the rides where closed on Wednesday lol. Also literally every ride today was 15 minutes apart from Smiler which was 15-30 according to the app.

We didnt go in Tree Fu Tom so didn't see half of it, but the half we did see matches the long straight wall on the plans almost to a tee.
