  1. To be honest I'm not sure even the staff know what's going on. Walked straight onto Nemmy, needed to show my annual pass on Stealth. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  2. It'll be easy to sit wherever you like on the ride but what you may find with the last (back) gate is that the staff try and get you to move further down. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  3. Sort of but it's all a bit of a mess especially for us Brits who like to queue one behind the other. There's a queue up to the station then each row has its own individual queue too. It's quite difficult to explain without seeing it all in action but you can make your way right down to the end for the front row queue. Most people don't even know it's there. I went on Saturday evening and only had to wait 2 trains before I got on. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  4. Honestly one of the best coasters I've been on, amazing to think it's a travelling one! Worth every single one for your nine hundred pennies. Definitely going to try and ride again before they close for the season. Two tips, pay contactless, it's the same price, jumps a bit of the queue and saves you queuing for tokens. Also when you're in the queue line keep left and go right down to the end for front row! Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  5. Just out of interest how does Face It Alone work? Is there a set time everyone goes through the maze? I kind of want to do it but I've been to the MAP preview day so I've already done all the mazes and I don't really fancy hanging about in hour long queues all day for other attractions after the selection ceremony. I kind of want to get into the park do Face It Alone and Containment and leave. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  6. I went on for the second time yesterday and to be honest it's an okay ride - it only becomes disappointing when you realise how much money they've poured into it. The live action section is still broken but kudos to Thorpe for actually trying (albeit dreadfully) to make the section work. There seems to be some sort of scuffle between the actors before another 'infected' actor breaks out of the station behind you and starts running about. We're all then ushered away back onto the train. I really want to like the ride - the tech driving it all both mechanically and the VR is all really exciting (I'm one of the few who prefer Galactica to Air) but the storyline is fundamentally poor, disjointed and doesn't play on the strengths of the attraction. For example we're physically moved from one place to another with no explanation as to how it's happened. So many people will overlook that. This is all fixable though, maybe next year's 'new destination' will solve the current flaws in the storyline? One question, I'm guessing I've sat on the same side both times but in that final lava section I assume one half of the train's headsets will fall backwards into the lava and the others will fall forwards to match the motion of the train?
  7. I went to take a look around the shop yesterday and I have to say it looks really good. A few highlights from me: - The giant lenticular photo of Derren that follows you around the room. - The shelf that disappears into the wall. -The theming in general, it's brilliant. - The egg timer that runs in reverse. - The glass half full (half empty for all you pessimists). It's also worth noting the photo counter at the ride exit/far end of the shop. If this is a group experience there's nothing I love more than taking and buying photos with strangers!
  8. Ah got it! The key combination is probably going to reveal a completely different clue at some point soon then!
  9. Regarding the next clue, this has appeared in the website's code. The lines have been commented out so they're not active yet for some reason? Once you're able to put in the code you'll be given the following message: "CONGRATULATIONS! EXCELLENT WORK! You’ve found our secret Derren Brown gallery and you’re now one step closer to riding THORPE PARK Resort’s newest attraction. Keep a look out for the remaining clues in the coming months..." No idea when it will be updated but that's what we've got to look forward to next.
