Single riders and fastrack enter at the same point, then the queues appear just behind the shop.. fastrack has a huge cattlepen beside the main queue, whereas single riders goes straight to the bags area and up.. I THINK!

Yeah, doubt it'll make much difference depending what type of guest is on park that day. Take alton towers, they have smoking areas.. signs around the park, signs at beginning and in every queueline, a message which displays quite long on every queueline tv in monorail and in queuelines, and it still does naff all difference somedays. Some people are just EXTREMELY ignorant.
  4. I dunno, there's still stuff there which I saw in very early may. It's a shame as it compares the park to something like drayton manor, and something that can very easily be rectified! What I don't understand is why you see a hell of a lot of graffiti in thirteens queue, but practically nothing anywhere else?!

I'd say that means they weren't efficient

Problem with queuejumpers is that if there's no staff to witness it, there's not an amazing amount people can do. If the guest in question minds waiting with the staff member and verifying with security, the staff can deal with an incident confidently and deal with it. Security protect yourselves and you get rewarded for your time.Majority of the time, the guys mentioning the queuejumpers then vanish, you cannot do anything as you dont have any solid evidence, nor confident if they are there. However, if staff members are present or witness smokers or queuejumpers in the queuelines, you'll notice them confront these people instantly.

Depends in my opinion. Chessie is too quiet to have a guaranteed later close, especially at the beginning of the summer holidays when it is practically dead. But yeah, I'm sure they'll extend the last weeks of august if there's volume.
  9. And this is how chessie staff fail at life

    Woo! Rather quiet, wasn't it?
  11. I'll add my sentence, if I will. It's general discussion and adds to it.Well done for ruining that guys day, someone whos gone to have a good day out. Prat. Let alone affecting the reputation of chessington because of it. Yes, it does affect the reputation. Think how many ****s at thorpe have made thorpes reputation change.

Single riders is a waste of effort and I can see why they don't have it on there. Not only does their batching system not really work for single riders, nor does the queueline have space for them, but also the guests who try and use it pretty much always try and blag, or try to deliberately push into the main queueline. It's just not worth the hassle at all, as it slows down the entire loading system. Wish some other places didn't have it either
  22. Return tomorrow is £5, return any day is like £14
  23. Went chessie yesterday. Overall good visit.Vampire looks good, though they need to keep on top of the lights.. they look a bit faded already over organist, just keep replacing the gels and its all good. Music still booming, and the ride actually has staff on offpeak periods now, amazing! The lowlight was tomb blaster, 20mins it took to ride, from the tv/mirrored effect point. Extremely stupid, and why on earth after all these improvements around park was tomb run with only three trains, with a poor loading system and an operator which insisted on sending the train once it hits photo area. Bloody rediculous. Oh, and someone has gone MAD with the UV lighting so the entire building it is in is lit up. Major, MAJOR leak for a park which is now seemingly more caring about these things (like falls crap wall).Really did enjoy the visit though, I love the place so much and its very close to looking extremely top form. Just needs some improvements to get rid of the leaks in the themes and its on its way to being almost perfect!

Theming comes under another budget, and anything can be put under the special budgets. It's literally a case of whether the directors care enough to bother. Someone just needs to put a case study to them, how it'd improve stuff and all that to justify the expenditure and woo, done.

    Who on earth does that?
