Glad to see Oakwood actually doing stuff again. After Dark returning (even if it's not as adventurous as last year), trying a halloween themed event and actually getting investment and creating attractions.. Go oaky!

They were sending trains out approximately every 5mins the other day, leading to throughputs of around 300pph. On two trains. So they haven't sorted operations out that well, but at least they've removed fastrack for the time being.

^ That's incorrect. Ride times uses the same information as Sales & Information Units, which can vary to information shown on any queue time board on park. Weird, but some systems get updated when others don't it seems.

Confirmed rides attending... the rides you list may not attend. What are you on about. Are they there or not?!

Brilliant story. Something we need at merlin attractions, something strong which resonates with the family market. We've got smiler half baked idea, we need a full on theme like this Wing Rider (though, whether it's storyline is portrayed as such in the actual park is yet to be seen).

So.. Mystery of HPH.. it seems to have taken the story and feeling of mystic manor at disney (and who'd blame them? It's fantastic). How far does it really take the story? Does it feel like a good update to HPH?

Even with the most stubborn of guests, it's still taken me no longer than a couple of minutes to eject someone from a queueline. Either I just get incredibly easy people and I'm made of steel, or it's that people are too scared or not authoritive enough to remove people. Presumably the latter. It's really not difficult.

Why doesn't legoland get any of these morally wrong issues?

Ride staff have full discretion to remove anyone from queues, whether they're queue jumping, smoking, or causing any general issues. Same with refusing people on rides. It's a "can't be arsed" attitude which leads to things not being done, not that they have no power. If they genuinely want to kick people out, they're able to do so.

Vampire loading only 6 rows? They obviously don't get issues it it being stuck in the break run anymore then..

Pretty certain smiler was open for the entire of yesterday? It looks very good in the dark though. Marmaliser provides almost entire of the area lighting, therefore making it look rather nice.

Don't see how Pocahontas fits into DAK? I can see how avatar fits in. Still, I want dragons and cool things.

Of course it's good advertising - the advertising is "I'M NOT ALLOWED TO SPEAK ABOUT IT". It keeps the scares and the intimacy safe. Noone will go in knowing what to expect. It's perfect, and made it very interesting.

Boobs? Anythings worth £15 for boobs.

Two confirmed themes are Postman Pat and In the Night Garden, both extremely successful cbeebies programmes. If done well, this could wipe the face off the competition really. Cbeebies is an insanely popular, well known, british brand. Absolutely perfect for towers (and thank god Shrek never appeared!).

You wouldn't have awful experiences with Zufari if you had a driver talking, THAT'S the point. Everything would ADAPT to the situation. Have no animals? Play hugely on the tree branch in the way, reversing, huge waterfall area. Have something not working? Work around it. Yes, you get consistent now, but it's consistently crap.

Or, actually cater for those school markets - thorpe and towers get bombarded with school trips (they take something like 1/3 of their entrance revenue from school trips), but chessie doesn't. So, cater for them and that'll help a fair bit.

Yeah, pretty much. Least the non-scarefest side has obtained some lights - the valley **should** be lit quite nicely in areas, plus lovely areas along to katanga. Duels queueline is worth a mention also.

They have to do stupid things, once zufari's attraction has finished, the land has to be returned to grassland. Fury's lifthill is on a temporary planning allowance, for example (though they may have extended this/been able to make this permenant?).
