I know where I wanna visit anytime soon...Mate, I like dubstep.
  2. Chessington is just far too risk averse for its own good to be honest.Blade is anyone whos feet touch the ground can sit on outside, which is deemed.. majority on the ride anyway. What I don't understand, is that unlike lego and towers equivs.. chessington still doesn't allow more than 5 to a row when there's children involved - whereas the official guidelines are 5 adults.
  3. It makes sense at family area - who wants their kids experiences be ruined by loads of smokers. It's just a nicer atmosphere without the smoke, and the smell of it.Places like chessington and lego should be a definite, and should be strongly enforced like legos. Places like thorpe, just not in sodding queuelines, you arrogant PENISES.
  4. Well, he did say the non-themed areas feel like thorpe... :mellow:Interesting report, nice photos. Love it.

Should bloody well be. B&M standards and all that. Hopefully we'll start seeing stuff towards end of year about it.
  6. A coaster going at speed in the 50s, is one fast coaster.Considering raptor goes around the speed of air, and thats 45mph. Very interesting.Throughput wise, I'd imagine it'd be in the low thousand. Hopefully on par with towers throughputs, to the like of air.

I always thought that fastrack appeals to both the people who are spending a lot, and very little. If you've spent that much getting into park, and train fare etc, you'll want to pretty much ensure you'll get on every ride, so you'll spend that extra money to make that happen. Also, if you've got in on a free ticket/reduced ticket.. you'd value it as a time saver, and as you haven't spent much, its worth while. Lovely stuff. This is how amazing fastrack is, and why its just so god damn lucrative.

Yeah, very computery. Shows its age though!

Needs to be expensive to slightly prevent people using it.Towers pricing for fastrack is brill, and now you dont get a discount buying a package instead of individually.. winner. (Nemesis £3, Oblivion £3, Air £4, Scream £10)

Do you not have a YP railcard? Minimum £12 fare on peak, so you'd still get a third off that..
  11. Coar, not in capitals. Naturally, air. Yup.This is well good though, regardless of the source. Good bit of geeky fun!
  12. Maybe. Three B&Ms out of 4 though. Unless I've got the SAW one wrong? This'd work far better if we didn't already know what the coaster is gonna be
  13. By all that - inferno could be the second one, SAW is the third. Oblivion is fourth. Which ride is he on about on the first one.. something locked down, save them? X:\NWO?
  14. Yeah man, still coming.

Mate, I should get praised for just turning up for work and staffing it - I don't have to. Or deciding to clean cobwebs when I haven't been asked.Same principle - you don't get praised at work for everything you do, I won't praise someone for creating a thread.Rant... about myself. I left the bathroom door open, so I've had the light reflecting onto my face all night, and I had an awful nights sleep. But I didn't have the energy to move and shut it
  16. Chessie has... spike and cinders? Does it have anyone else?Towers.. from memory.. on park.. has.. Squirrel Nutty, Fin the Shark, Alton Bear, Sonic, Sharktooth jack wanders around sometimes.. Then they've got sir algenon for ATH, and Ringo for splash.

It'll have a new tagline - much like Flume: Unplugged, Duel! The Haunted House Strikes Back, or Pirate Falls: Dynamite DrenchIt's heavily rumoured to be "SAW the ride: Now its gone"
  18. Most of the specifications are desirables - not essential. I know a few people who have gotten into landscaping without any of the stuff usually mentioned - just on their determination and attitude.

Notice the new posters are the same, just without imperial leather logos plastered on them.Wish they did a better job of removing the logos, like.. actually getting rid of them would be nice.
  20. Yup, it is.
  21. Mate, keep what you do in your private life and any following innuendos to the correct topics, kthx.
  22. cottage cheese tastes very nicesake. Lez Coogan 12?
  23. Yeah buses are always late - but they're frequentish. 191, 702 and 703 go to lego staff entrance. Up to 5 an hour sometimes (including lego shuttle). Just as long as you get the 805 or so (depending on your start time) you should be fine. But walking is incredibly cheap and reliable though, did this a few times.
  24. More than 1000 animals in the zoo. Yay for marketing spiel, like "over 50 rides and attractions.." which include pathways and themed bits
