It's been said by a few that it's been implemented by the other parks - maybe chessie is saying this to guests? However, it hasn't changed at towers yet. Dunno about thorpe.

Mention the fiberglass thing to guest services next time you visit, they'll need to write an incident report and it'll be noted. As it'll be mentioned by customer, chances are stuff will be done.Cleaningwise.. its just the attitude of the park. Towers clean their rapids (well, the boats at least) every few days to keep it clean. Thorpe just does.. no.. cleaning.. other than picking up rubbish.

Can also bring up nemesis' or vampires as well - being the oldy coasters in the merlin world

Confused? Legoland has always been called legoland, and has always been in capitals (the logo just hasn't changed - nor has any official text since legolands began )
  6. Good. About time they did that anyway! Though tbh any good operator/host/tl would leave the shoes anyway, always did! Most TLs when I was there were "If the announcement is said, then its fine as its up to guest to blatently ignore it - it cannot come back on us then". Sensible option tbh.
  7. Not really that though, not on vampire. It's mainly down to large guests. If all restraints aren't fully locked, the current connector cant come up (the clunk click noise). If the current connector aint up, then train wont be going anywhere.Sooo they ask to recheck, for people to push down on largies. Due to chessingtons stupid rules and procedures, they have to recheck all of the restraints (probably down to the choice of wording over PA).Operators can override the restraints, which they'd use as long as restraints were down and seatbelts fully in. Doubt they'll do that much/ever anymore, but it was an almost every train thing when I was there.
  8. Vampire we've got 1100 with the new trains, and that was difficult.Truckers is no way that they could get that - even with a billion hosts, how could you get all guests off and in and checked within 1min? Especially seeing as the ride cycle is longer than 3mins if you count one car moving to the last car stopping at the very end!
  9. Seastorm can get 600 if run well .
  10. Tbf.. it does limit it a bit - its simple supply and demand. They wont limit the numbers - whats the point anyway? But it limits the amount of people wanting/willing to purchase it.As for 2010, it was £10 for EXP.
  11. It's expected on the opening weekend - if they're anything but, then their induction training and attitude is just wrong
  12. Should've just renamed it Tetley Teacups, seeing as it is just that. No storm about anymore!
  13. Loving the fastrack options (well, apart from young adventurer, but its priced right anyway).£6 for two rides though, is brill. £3 each person to fastrack vampire. That'll stop those ridiculous OTT fastrack queues that these rides get, and will speed up the main queue.I'm all for this, finally chessington is charging proper pricing for fastrack!

Not really. Thinking of guest experience would be the ride with lights off, not on. Or getting rid of the ride.
  15. Nemmy merge is so win! Only disliked it like 4 times in entire season
  16. My god this is fun.I wrote loads but deleted it because this topic is stupid.1) Ride staff have entire discretion. It's not up to Guest Services if people need more or not, and rides staff discretion always overrides it, as long as its got reason - safety of guest, practicality, etc.2) Rides staff helping guests physically means they're liable in the eyes of law. That's what carers are for. Hence why some parks completely ban it. It makes sense, don't want lawsuits.3) Disability act is changing. Most policies are changing. Towers and lego, for example, is literally wheelchairs or mental health (autism or aspergers) only. Anyone else, will have to queue. This has been widely abused for a long time.

Since when has dark forest been behind cuckoo land? .Towers is a huge reference, and not much infront of it. Makes sense navigation wise.
