Europa Park
I understand this Matt but disagree. Europa Park is the only park I've been to so far that I would consider world class. The Merlin comparison is irrelevant, we're talking totally different scales of quality and frankly doesn't need to be bought up in this topic.

February Half Term 2015
Company that dominates the market in attempting to make more money out of customers who will probably visit anyway shocker. Excuse my flippant nature. I speak the truth is all.

Gardaland
I hear you can get a good psychiatrist for Obliviophobia. Unfortunately I do not have the number. One of the rumoured cures is too question whether one does or does not look down. Some people go through it in their minds over, and over and over and over over over.

A Very Happy TPM Xmas - Saturday 20th December 2014
Just wanted to thank everyone for their company during the meet. Was great to see everyone again and to talk to some new people especially. Many thanks needs to go to Peaj as well for taking the time to keep everyone together, planning the trips and organising the biggest meet TPM has had so far. You did a sterling job.

Project WC16 - New for 2016
Benin got in their first with a reply but to be honest, that area of the world is developing quickly whereas France, America and Japan have been hit hard by the financial crisis. It is noteworthy that Radiator Spring Racers and Ratatouille ride were still very expensive investments even if they are Pixar franchises and prove that IP's can be very good provided the ride and scenery is of good quality.

Gardaland
I'm more disappointed with the ride itself then the name. Thats being said without riding it, which I probably shouldn't do but on the whole, so much potential is being left untapped with the dive machine model. This is just Krake with bells and whistles and I could guarantee my favourite thing about it will be the name once I've had a go.

Gardaland
It was part of a Merlin performance pack where they refer to it as Oblivion. I'm sure Peter can find it.

Gardaland

February Half Term 2015
Few things though. Air was walk on, both crafts were going out less then half empty, it only uses the third train when its running both stations. Having both stations open means double the staff members. Really not worth it to send two people out per train. We're talking the difference between full capacity and an appropriate capacity. Alton always seems to use the appropriate capacity on rides.

February Half Term 2015
I'm only referring to the February half term event. Don't go to that. By all means, visit the park during the proper open season.

Disneyland Paris
If they open at all.

February Half Term 2015
Do that then, hit them where it hurts. There's no point being unhappy with the charge on here then continuing to visit.

February Half Term 2015
Pretty much my viewpoint too. Bit harsh to further penalise people who chose the standard pass in this way.

February Half Term 2015
But Ricky, this is a forum dedicated to Thorpe Park. Go and visit a Disney forum and see just how every little part of Florida and Paris is criticised, critiqued and analysed. This is the very nature of a dedicated fanbase. If you're saying we should go to Thorpe, put on the rose tinted glasses and be happy at all the breakdowns, closures and one train rollercoasters then you are sadly mistaken. I mean lets face it, we live in a continent of some fantastic parks, some whether Thorpe likes it or not are competing with. Take a visit to Disneyland Paris or PortAventura and take note of how many Brits are around. If Thorpe's attendance figures are down then maybe they should start taking note of the criticism and actually improve standards. And they could begin with February opening and giving a money boost to engineering who I don't doubt work bloody hard.

Chessington General Discussion
Clearly Toadies as Truckers still runs five cars.
-
Chessington General Discussion
In the past it could run five but the cars have a habit of crashing into each other.

Chessington General Discussion
You're all monsters. As the first ride I ever operated I have a special love for the 2nd most flawed ride at Chessington. It's a wonderful beast.

February Half Term 2015
I think that shows my low regard for X and Flying Fish that I didn't even include them so apologies for that. I disagree though, Alton can get Nemesis and Air open so The Swarm and Inferno should be prime targets for getting open in February. For some reasons Stealth has always been able to open to (Rita hasn't) so I'd expect that to crop up too.

February Half Term 2015
Dodgems, Detonator, Vortex, Zodiac, Quantum, Rush and Teacups would be enough for you then?
